New diagnosis of IDC and my mother IS a double BC survivor.

Hi!

I'm not depressed. I'm not scared. I'm excited to start the journey to new health.

My mother was diagnosed with 2 types of cancer (one in each breast) and I spent 5 weeks helping her surgery recovery. I'm more familiar than most with this process. I started learning about BC in 1995 when I joined a BC chat group linked to Lifetime TV.

I'm looking forward to surgery. Not due to the change my body will go through, but to remove this illness from my body so I can heal the rest of my body.

Please contact me if you need some inspriation, because this WILL NOT STOP ME!!!!
