I'm nearly four years out from surgery and my breast/underarm scars are, now, barely noticeable.

Two years + out, my scars are gone. Ten months after surgery, the mammo technician couldn't see the lumpectomy scar without searching for it with my help. But everyone heals differently, and as my surgeon said, never having smoked helps tremendously in the healing process.

I had a UMX and wear tanktops with no problem.

Have you tried using Cocoa Butter? I find it is great for reducing scars.

I had surgery on January 30 and my scar has lightened up. I try to use cocoa butter every day to help.

I had a lumpectomy and sentinel nodes removal on October 15, 2014 and during radiation I was using Aquaphor on the treated area and now both scars are barely visible. I used it 2x a day during treatment and still continue. The skin under my breast took a beating from the radiation, but now the skin is just a bit darker then the other areas of my breast. Check with your doctor first before using anything. Good luck!
