    Today is day 10 in rads for me. Last week I brought up that I had a bump in my breast and off to US I went. The results were one 2.9 cm simple cyst (the one I could feel) along with two complex cysts with septations measuring 9 mm each. I also have some reactive nodes (I never had cancer in my nodes so I don't think they are in the radiation field (??). My RO said they would watch them and I should follow up with my BS. He didn't seem overly concerned but now I am. Should I be...or is my mind running away with me? I have always been cystic...(which made me very nonchalant about feeling that BC not even being on my radar....

    JJ, I am sorry you are going thru this. I do not have experience with cyst occurance, as you have had them before and he said he wasnt overly concerned....I think thats a good thing. How is your skin holding up with the rads? Hopefully you will get responses from those in the know soon, sorry I am no help but to say I care! Hang in there, and a soft hug to you.

    Thank you. I've never had complex cysts (only simple ones)before...and when he said to contact my BS so they can be watched has unnerved me especially since this is the bad breast. I get that he doesn't want to touch anything during rads...it's just the wondering IF there is something more to all of this.

    Yes, I had a spot, never was called a cyst, that was in the bad boob. I did develope cancer, do not know if it was related. I knowtons of ladies have benign cysts all their lives and are never a problem, it would be great to hear from some of those ladies here. Maybe they will find this thread!
