non specific Lymphadenopathy

Options

My ultrasound came back with non-specific Lymphadenopathy under the right arm and no mass was detected in the breast.

did any one know what is this ? the report said its 3 lymph nodes and measurement in mm

I google it and find it might be metastasis, i have no symptoms or lump

my doctor appointment in 2 weeks i hope it is benign thing

fadheir,  to answer both your questions, "they" do ultrasounds for many reasons.  Yes, one is that they see something they are worried about.  A second, and very common one, is that they can't see everything with the mammogram.  If you have very dense breast tissue they have a hard time seeing anything on a mammo.  Since they did both sides, I'd guess that's the reason.

As for lymphadenopathy, that's a fancy word for "swollen lymph nodes".  They could be swollen for any number of reasons.  Infection, poor drainage today, ducts in your breast aren't draining correctly for some reason, etc., etc.

I'm sure it would be useless to tell you not to worry, but this could very easily be a benign situation.  I hope so and good luck!

    Hi there, I am not
suggesting you have this, but I'd also ask my doctor to confirm I don't have  blood disease like Lymphoma or something with the showing of enlarged lymph nodes and no BC evident. Its easy to rule out and a good question to ask them. Hoping you are okay and this is all just from a simple infection of some sort.
