We went to Wilmington yesterday and had a nice time watching my oldest daughter's dance concert. Am glad to be home now - I don't really like travelling and can't wait to be in my own bed! Will be making the trip again in a few weeks for her graduation.

Haven't been in today since early morning. What's up? The entire Warm & fuzzies tread is gone -
So is Insomniacs? -
Mods are working on the problem
-
It's been all over, they must have had a problem, seems ok now
-
Hi ladies- yes, I checked here awhile ago and all the previous pages of discussion were missing. Looks like they are back. Happy Monday!
-
Oh MY DOG! I was so scared, Ha! I thought, Oh damn, what did I SAY? But I PM'd the Mods, along with a million others, and they fixed it all..... And YES, I WAS out in my garden, Ha! Planted a bunch of greens seeds, and added Pearlite to the soil, and just waiting until around Mother's Day to buy some Tomato plants....
We are supposed to get rain/snow again Thursday into Friday.... So still too early to put those things out yet.
Okay, now I forgot what y'all said on the last page..... I'm just so happy we are all together again!!!!! xoxoxoxo

Ladyolas! Just a quick check in to say that I finished rads on March 30. 30 shots to my sternum tumor. Then on April 2 I had my gallbladder evicted. It was nothing but a pain!
I'm still away from home but hoping to be back there before the end of April. Yippee!
Hope everyone is well.
Phyllis

Chevy, LOL I wonder how many PM's the Mods got--wheweh. I told them I couldn't resist a joke even when trouble was a brewing. Asked them if it was like the China Syndrome. Then when the Pm'd back and it asked if it was okay now. I said "all was right in Neverland again
". Can you imagine if it was all gone. Scary thought. Our hearts and souls are here in writing.Philieeeeeeeeeeeeee so happy to see you here. YAY done. Cute the way you said it was just a pain. Like --nobiggy after all the forklifting of BC
-
Yea Phyllo!!!!! Hope to see you here more often!!'

leaded glass tray. Sorry about the pic. it doesn't do it justice. Gifted it to dear cousin who is into more modern things. You can see it catches the light allot. The lines are ribbing on the bottom. Very heavy and textural feel. Haven't come close to identifying. SPCA thrift about a 1.50$. She was thrilled. Added a little clear glass bowl that was three footed. Feet were cobalt. Just a touch of color. Great match. Turns out blue glass is her fav accent color. Forgot to take pic of the two together.

-
ohhhh pretty
-
Wow, I missed all the excitement.

I think it was Susan that said something about a shrine. My brother calls this the shrine. Each item is from a family member and my rascals tags. The dresser is Dh's great GM. The dresser and shaving mirror date back to circa 1840's. The pic in the previous pic is called 'The Hope of a Nation' from around 1920-30(forget). LOL each piece has a story.
-

A little cockeyed, but this is the other bow window. Dh's box is on the left. All the other stuff is family keepsakes. Poor DS. There on the right, is one of the spawning beds. Before it can spawn again I'll get it to one of the women's shelters.
-
I just invited a newbie to come here. Her name is Seshaw41.
-
Phragm- welcome back and good to hear you are done with rads. Sorry about the GB, but better to get it removed before it really becomes a big problem. I know anything in the abdomen is not easy, been there, done that.
Not sure where you are right now, but hope you can get home to sleep in your own bed soon!
