how about drinking?

Just received this from a friend. Boy do I have some Tequila stories in my long, lost past.
Tequila
Do you have feelings of inadequacy?
Do you suffer from shyness?
Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about Tequila.
Tequila is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident about yourself and your actions.
Tequila can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you're ready and willing to do just about anything.
You will notice the benefits of Tequila almost immediately, and with a regimen of regular doses you can overcome any obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want to live.
Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past, and you will discover many talents you never knew you had.
Stop hiding and start living, with Tequila.
Tequila may not be right for everyone. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use Tequila.
However, women who wouldn't mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it.
Side effects may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, erotic lustfulness, loss of motor control, loss of clothing, loss of money, loss of virginity, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night rounds of Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister. -

I don't know - how fast can you drive???
You are such a smart a##!! LOL!! -
so.........i'm drinking tequilla...........
-
Whatever it takes Shel! Seems it worked for Lini!
-
I'm HOME!!! I'm opening wine as we speak...though, maybe I should switch to tequilla....
WHAAAAA I want ot come to the party too. Sometimes living so far north stinks. You will have to take pictures and open up the chat room so those of us too far away can play from home
Hey Shel- Tell mike that they are always looking for pilots up here to fly the northern Siberia route. Of course it will be cold so he will have to keep his danm pants on. I'm sure some ugly toothless broad in lower Nanwalic could rent him a room so you could get him out of your place....
let us know if you need anything..a hug, a bottle of beer, the phone number of a reliable hit man...anything at all.
take care of yourself.
Deb C. -
Love it, Deb. A frozen weenie.
-
Hey Lini I think it took about 28 hours to drive from SD to Chicago when I did it about 20 somthing years ago! I'll have to ask my sister shes a long haul driver and does it all the time.
-
Niki, no drinking for you, you need to work on that resume!!!!! You know that job is ment for you!
-
Deb you are a riot! So witty! Glad you are home.
Shel- I was thinking, maybe Mike can not bring himself to tell you that your findings were his. Any chance, he is hiding a cross dressing fetish while he's away?
Janis, Teena and Nicki-
Driving (4.5 hr) or Flying (1 hr) Chicago truly is my 2nd city. Always an easy weekend get-a-away. -
Geez...missed all the fun last night...bed at 7...oh well.
Looks like we need to all relocate to Chicago! An awful lot of partying going on there!!
Shel...gee...don't they have homeless shelters where you are...send him there LOL.
I'll check in tonight after someone who "might" be special calls (if he doesn't call I may need you to all bring the can of whoop ass to NY!) -
I always miss all the fun, too! I get up early in the morning, so I go to bed early. Usually because I had too much wine and just go to sleep on the sofa .
Jan -
i'm cracking up at christine.........it would be sooooooo much easier if the asshole WAS a crossdresser, not a habitual cheater!
besides he's 6'2" 230lbs.......that bra would've never fit him lol!
going to bed girls, got a 5k "walk" to do in the morning.....all by my little old self cause mike bailed on that too.........dreading the sea of pink shirts.....makes me cry everytime!
back to tequilla tomorrow night loloolol! -
looks like the west coast is still alseep! I know I slept in late but maybe I'll hit the sack before it's tomorrw here!

Yep! And if you don't like the weather here just wait as it will change by tomorrow! (or something like that!)
Not the best place to live but there sure is a heck of a lot to see and do!
And Vickie, if he doesn't call then find someone who will! I sure the heck am having fun with all of my new young men! I could give you a good web-site to check out.....
Good-night Ladies! -
Jaybird...oh he did more than call!!! Actually came over and watched "Fried Green Tomatoes" and like it! Had a great time but could really use that website to check out too!
The weather here is like it is there so I wouldn't notice the change and with enough to drink...who would care! -
Vickie,
So true about the wx. I've spent a lot of time in NY and you guys are just a bit warmer in the winter and a bit more humid in the summer, otherwise not much of a difference. NY has a special spot in my heart. -
OK Im making bourbon chicken and stir fried veggies for dinner and Im drinking a glass of wine. I let someone on another thread tick me off I need to stop doing that! Grrrrr. My dad always said that I dont suffer fools gladly In this case he is sure right.
SO maybe a 2nd glass of wine is in order!
Cheers dears
Deb C. -
Cheers Deb! Whatever it takes to get you over the "fools." I myself am too tired to drink tonight so have one for me!
-
Deb, don't let them do that to you, this is your time at home and you should be enjoying it. Have another glass!
Cheers!
Think I'll take the pill route instead of the glass route tonight as my back is killing me after moving boxes all day getting ready for my little sister to move in. There goes my storage room! Oh well I really needed to get it cleaned up anyhow. -
as I posted before my sister's oncologist recommended a glass of red wine every night in between therapies to build up blood and improve blood count.Drinking haviely my be suicidal under circumstances so it's good to keep it under control but I see it beneficial.
-
I think even us drinkers here would say, all things in moderation (even moderation)
-
Yum,Deb....Bourbon chicken???? My stomach is growling just thinking about it!
Christine... Moderation? I haven't been able to live by that yet . I seem to be taking everything to extremes lately. I eat too much, I drink too much, I gain weight and get depressed and the whole cycle starts again .
All four grandkids were over yesterday. That's a good thing, but still ate too much and drank too much! Oh well, maybe some day I'll get my sh*t together.
Still thinking about that bourbon chicken. It's lunchtime, so maybe I'll get a bite to eat. -
Hi drinkin' buddies!
Jan - I need to get my sh*t together too. But don't hold your breath.
Shel - I'm so sorry you're going through shit right now. Sounds like you're handling things okay.
Threw a surprise 60th birthday party for my brother Fri night in my home town of Joplin, MO. He had NO CLUE! Everything went off as planned. Great DJ, friends he hadn't seen in years all the way from San Diego. I hear I was nominated for Leading Drunk in the female category. I'm sure it was a toss up between me and my two sisters. Oh well, girls just wanna have fun, right?
Are you guys really going to get together in Chicago? I wanna go!! I was there once when I was 14 on a church trip of some sort. I have a feeling if I met this group there, it would be a slightly different type of experience. (or at least I hope so!)
Cheers!
Donna -
drinking my foolface off........and screwing mike out of everything i can lol!
its about damn time too!!!!! man oh man is he pissed!!!!!!
i should have done this 5 years ago........i never thought i had a vindictive bone in my body, but apparently i do........and it feels soooo gooood! lol! -
WooHoo Shell...Some times it feels good to be "On Top"! Do what feels right for YOU!
Deb C. -
Shel,
Screw away!!! -
Just caught up with this thread....Yoooaaahhh..
First of all, Donna, Joplin? that's MO? That is where I am, Not too far, but I guess far enough?
Everyone else- "on top" is the only place to be.
shel- it sounds like you've got it together---
GO GIRL! -
Shel - YOU GO GIRL!! I'm glad to see that you are taking charge of your life! You have to look out for yourself right now.
Donna - I see that I'm not the only one with alcoholic sisters. If people had to choose who was the lead drunk in our family, it would be a real tough decision. Add my brother-in-law, who has MS, to the group and it gets crazier. Whenever we get together, we just go out of our minds !
I got in too late last night to have any more than a glass of wine and tonight I have to work late. I guess my poor old abused liver deserves a break! -
Way to go Shel!!! and...I still think you should ship him off to a shelter!
-
Yeah Shel, give it all you've got and then some! He must be the orginal DICK!
Hugs & Cheers for you
Grubby
