I am in Arizona, where it is a lovely 80 degree. all my flowers are blooming. I am laughing at the talk of snow. When we see it, it never sticks, but it is lovely.
I am in a mood today - I ended radiation last week, so the past five days, I have finally felt "well" and a sense of freedom. However, they started calling yesterday and I told the poor little med asst, I would not be coming back for the follow up with the rad dr, because what would the doctor do, except what she did for six weeks, say on my gosh, are you putting on enough lotion!
so they must have told the evil onocologist I dont' want to come back and all I want to do is to tell them
STFU!
is that so terribly wrong?
-
no it's not
U go girl
Find another oncologist cause U need check ups for a while
Like blood work every 3 mos.
-
you may not need to see the RO (I don't although I liked mine and he told me I can call him at any time if I have questions)
but you do want someone following you, for me it is my MO and she orders my regular mamos now
-
Like FK.....I had a fantastic RO, and a fantastic team for my Rads........it made it so much more bearable.........when I was done I can honesty say I missed thm..........the ladis wi ll remember my expeience with my "blue eyed Mark"......who I loved..........so.....
You need follow-u MO treatment for a long time.........FK is right.....they test many things when you go to their office with a blood draw.................so if your not happy with the one you have now "fine", but you never stop seeing your ONC........maybe you go less often, but yo never stop....I'm 4 years now, an still go at least every 6 months....................
Find a good one, but go...............
-
