Good wish Patty.
My Friday night routine...has no routine at all. LOL I like to get out with my DH if I can, but it get's overshadowed by the activities of extended family and the needs of four kids. My favorite is to spend a quiet evening at home with DH while everyone is out.
When the family is out and I can make anything I want for dinner (and no one will say, "do I have to eat this?"), I would make.......

Nothing. If I didn't have to cook for family I would easily just skip that meal

reality wish: sleep for about 8 hours in a row and not get up to go to the bathroom even once!

(for the younger folks - it was 1999 and computer programmers thought maybe the electronic world would end because systems were built on the year 19xx and they didn't know if it could handle the year 2000. Dubbed Y2K, we all had to plan for it.)

my mom would get those daily schedule/calendar books and give them to us so that we could 'write' our own 'books'. We spend many hours with our pencils/colors etc. composing at the dining room table. She was a SMART lady!
