About pits-armpits that is

I finished radiation the beginning of Feb (whole breast and axilla) and I'm just wondering when I'll start regrowing hair in that armpit. Not that I'm complaining-I can't remember it ever being so smooth. In fact if it weren't for the exorbitant cost and those pesky health issues related to radiation, I'd sign up to have the other armpit and my bikini area done! So how long do I have before hair removal will become an issue and how careful does one need to be about shaving the area after SNB and radiation?

Hi labelle, My RO told me that I wouldn't sweat on the right side or have armpit hair to worry about. So no worries!

Dang. Add that to the list of things my RO didn't tell me. I thought it would be just a matter of time...............Well, something good may have come from the RADS after all!

My ROs nurse told me I wouldn't sweat or have hair anymore. I had bmx, no sweat or hair on other side either!!!

Yep - almost no shaving for me. I have one tiny place (edge of pit) on my radiated side that wasn't hit with rads. So I have hair that grows in that tiny spot.
