lymph node needle biopsy

so after having a port placed yesterday and in so much pain today, i have an armpit lymph node needle biopsy along with the breast tumor to be biopsied again along with bone scan and body ct scan....

so how much pain did you have after the lymph node biopsy?

    I didn't have any pain after my needle biopsies.

    how many lymph nodes did your surgeon take out really? From my reading, usually its from 1-4 and no more...and generally has no need for a port...(my surgeon told me before surgery they will take from 2-3, but finally only took 1 out)...unless yours has lots of fluid that needs to be drained..

    Anyway, did not experience stingy pain on my post SLND on my right hand, only soreness, of which exercises must be done daily to prevent it from hardening....here's a pictorial link for all the exercises you must try doing daily so you get blood flowing again... I also believe that when you do that, there will be less fluid buildup in that area...it worked for me.

    nothing was taking out...just a needle biopsy....its just a little sore...nothing to bad!
