Let's Post our Daily Exercise

I got some walking in to and from appointments today, for about 1.25 miles or so. I think maybe next week I might be ready to start up my couch to 5k program again. I finish rads this Wednesday (yay!) and will gauge my energy levels through the rest of the week. Walking is fine, so I think adding some easy jogging will be OK.
-
Went to yoga this morning (after only a 5 day lay-off, I felt like I had never done it before
), and zumba tonight. -
Catching up after a busy weekend.
Claire, I am so sorry about your friend. May you find comfort in your memories of the good times with her.
Natsfan and Patoo, fingers crossed for good inspections/appraisals.
Thumbs up to everyone for continuing the exercising this week.
I have been exercising over the weekend with lots of walking at a local pet expo event (bought lots of goodies for my fur babies) Sunday I exceeded 10,000 steps while running errands. Tonight was back to bootcamp.
Sweet dreams my sculpted sisters.

Hi all. I am getting motivated on the exercise so will try to post to this thread. (Hi Odie.) I went to the gym yesterday and did 10 minutes running on treadmill, 5 minutes elliptical, and 17 minutes walking on treadmill. It's a start! I have 25 lb. to lose
-
Welcome Placid!

Walked this weekend. Sad thing -- I misplaced my fitbit on Friday and miss it :-(. So not sure how much I walked. Hope to get back to formal excercise this week but will take it easy due to the Rad burns. Hopefully I can start the couch to 5k program in my target timeframe.
Natsfan and Patoo, glad to hear things are moving with the inspections and appraisals.
Welcome Placid! I love this thread -- keeps me accountable as I try to get into a consistent routine.
-
one mile jog....at least I made it to the trailhead!
-
2 mile walk post work. Dragging with a cold I managed to catch. What is going on with my immune system???
Will do weights in a bit. - Claire
-
Placid, you are off to a great start
DH took me for sinfully delicious lunch today at the Comet Cafe on the east side in Milwaukee (featured on Drive-Ins, Diners, and Dives). Google it! Fun place. Definitely needed to burn some extra calories...
Ran 3.5 miles (outside!) and 30 minutes Pilates. Claire, I'm jealous reading your biking posts from earlier. Cannot wait to get my bike out. Soon!!
-
Welcome Placid. Claire I am so sorry about your friend, such a lovely photo you have beautiful memories to help you in this sad time, hope the cold doesn't last long. Nats and Patoo fingers crossed for you both as the selling process continues.
After days of celebration eating, finally got back on the exercise bandwagon tonight and did a Spin class
-
Claire, so sorry about your friend. What a beautiful picture! If I were an artist, I'd do a painting of it. Hope you feel better soon from all the stressors.
Great job, placid!
Salsa yesterday, but still couldn't do some of the arm-breaking turns. Zumba tonight.
-
hi all and welcome placid44. Walked my 2.5 mile route after supper last night. Wanted to watch part 1 of the Emperor of all Maladies documentary but we only have one TV and DH was hogging the remote so went and walked off my frustration.
-
I walked 45 minutes outside yesterday. It was my first full day with my new Fitbit and I got in over 10,000 steps and 27 floors. Yea!
Welcome Placid!
-
Tried to sleep in a bit this morning as we have a evening meeting until 8 at work tonight. Couldn't sleep, awake since 4am but did just rest. Then got up and did 5K on the rower before getting ready to head out to work. Still waiting for spring here in Western PA! Keep up the good work everyone!
Martha

Claire,my condolences and really liked the back shot of Kathy. Welcome Placid. Well dome LittleBlueFlowers!
Yoga tonight with son and class was packed.
-
30 minute walk this evening.
Meijo I live north of Chicago. Glad to see some spring-like weather moving back in!
-
I declined a sub job today because it was too nice out to be indoors (how lucky am I?!!!!!). So, this morning I did my fun cardio sculpt class, then did some yard work & cleaned out the garage (which is actually fun when you've been trapped inside for months on end), and then we went to a college baseball game.....PERFECT weather and our team won too! I will go to yoga in a few minutes to round off the day.
Mary, I am posting this baseball picture just for you.

-
Claire, so sorry about your friend and my condolences.
Found my fitbit. Woot! Woot! It was in the trash -- I downloaded one of those bluetooth finder apps which helped me find it rather quickly after 5 days of being lost. Must have fallen off when I was emptying the shedder on Friday.
30 min walk today.
-
Ladyb, so glad you found your Fitbit! I love mine and would hate to do without it.
I did 30 min of circut trainng today.
-
Glad you found it, Angie! I'm seriously considering the Charge HR. I have a Fitbit Flex and like it a lot, but I think I'm ready for a new gadget.

Two walks today - one with DD and our dog for about 1.5 miles and then to and from rads for another 1.2 miles. Feels good to be up and about. Sunny So Cal weather (but we could always use some rain).
-
Welcome Placid!
Angie, glad you found your fitbit BEFORE the trash went out..LOL
Went to bootcamp again tonight to work off those evil Reese's peanut butter eggs!!
-
ladyb- congrats on finding your fitbit. I lost mine earlier this year. I emailed the company (hoping for a discount on replacing it) and they sent me a new one for free! I was psyched.
Two Hobbies- I forget my Apple ID all the time. Good job making up your own couch to 5 k and getting started.
I have had a cold and have limited my exercise to walking about an hour each day. I am hoping to try a run tomorrow.
-
1.5 mile slow jog.....made it off the pavement! What music do you ladies listen to, if you listen, while working out?
-
3-mile walk with my dog and 3-mile run. littleblueflowers, my two favorite running songs right now: Shake (MercyMe) and Uptown Funk

-
mornin' glories, happy April! Walked 30 mins at noon yesterday then ate my lunch @ desk.
-
Vi-box and body balance classes earlier gym.
-
Oooh...peanut butter eggs. I love those things. Not good for the diet though.
Only got 40 mins on the treadmill this morning before I had to leave for my treatment. Yesterday I did 15 mins rowing and a 20 min walk.
I can't wait for the new Apple watch to come out.
-
Here we are having fun walking outside.
Today is the American Heart Association's National Walking Day.....happy walking/running/dancing/biking/moving everyday to us all!
-
Ruth - great baseball pictures! Can't wait for Opening Day on Monday - you know I'll be at Nats Park that day!
Half hour run last night in between rain showers. Very slow as my quad was bothering me for some reason, so I did a half hour session of yin yoga this morning to try to work it out. I think I'm just paying for my month of almost-inactivity (except for moving!). LittleBlue - one of the best "pacing" running songs I have in my mixes is the old 80's tune "Take On Me" by a ha. It has a nice tempo of 170 beats per minute. I sprinkle it liberally throughout most of my playlists to help keep me on pace.
-
NatsFan, dang it! Now I have "Take on Me" stuck in my head
. I'm excited for opening day as well! Today after work I ran down to Cali's doggie daycare center pushing the empty jogging stroller. Got a few strange looks from people. Ha! Picked her up and did a brisk walk home with her in the stroller. More smiles and few eye rolls from people passing by.
Can't wait for Idol tonight! Any other fans here?
