Supporting someone with ILC

My husband's stepmother has just been diagnosed. She starts her first round of chemo this week and then for 18 more weeks. She will undergo a double mastectomy and they are considering a hysterectomy too. I want to help but we aren't close, physically or emotionally.

We live about 5 hours away from her, so making meals or being there for daily tasks is not possible, but I was thinking of sending her a care package frequently. Something small to look forward to because I imagine the chemo will be a looming event every week. If someone did something nice for you, or there was a product that helped ease symptoms, I would appreciate those suggestions so much. She is a wonderful lady. Well wishes to all of you.
