For Carrie....
I don't remember the day, or even the month
but I remember the first letter you sent me
"You don't know me but my sister has BC..."
And from that moment you let me become a part of your
beautiful, warm, caring family.
Your words, your concern, your worries for dear Deese made me wish I had a sister like you
So you made me your sister.
I have never, in all my life, ever met a more compassionate, giving beautiful soul than you.
The generousity of your heart knows no bounds.
You are truly an angel that God has sent to us here on earth.
You have taken care of all of us.
You have offered a hand, a shoulder, a hug, a laugh and a tear...
Now it is your turn.
For every single thing you have constantly given to others without a thought for yourself, may our Saviour look down upon you and place His healing hand on you so that you feel nothing but peace and the knowledge that you will be alright.
May He guide the doctor's hands and give them the wisdom to treat you with the proper medications, and may He see that you are an Angel who has indeed lived His word and bless you for all the good that is Carrie.
I miss you my friend. I want you to come home soon.
Please, dear Lord, grant us this prayer. We need our Angel and we thank you for the wonderous gift of Carrie...
She has much work left to do for You... so please hasten this healing...we need her.
I love you Carrie,
Gina -
Dear Sweet Friend,
I hope that you are resting comfortably tonight and that your coughing has eased. Sure hope the doctors have figured out what's going on and have you on the road to recovery now. I miss you! I am praying daily for you to regain your health and to feel good again. I know that being in the hospital is one of hardest places to get any rest, so maybe you'll be home soon and can catch up on your sleep. Carrie, you are truly one of the kindest, most caring people that I know. I pray that you will be well very, very soon. Rest, take your meds, and hopefully we'll *see* you here soon!
Love and Hugs,

My Sweet Friend Carrie,
I am soooo glad that you are home from the hospital and back with us. I have missed you, I've said it before and I'll say it again, this place is just not the same without you here! I hope that you will be feeling good again very soon. The prednisone flush, ewww, I know that very well, and it's horrible. I hope that you won't have to take it much longer. Are you able to sleep again? I know that it's hard to sleep when you are on high doses of prednisone or decadron. If you can't sleep and you feel it , you know where to find me.....I'm usually always awake, lol. Did they ever decide what was wrong or did I miss it? I've heard severe asthma attack, pneumonia, and possible heart attack!!!! I sure hope that last one isn't true. Get well soon, my friend. You are in my prayers always!
Lots of Love and Hugs,
JoJo -
