Full Reconstruction with Fat Graphting-Fail or Success?

Hi All,

I've been browsing all the topics on here related to full recon with only Fat Grafting. I've had a double mastecomy and am favoring this option but am still gathering info. I spent hours the last few days going thru all the posts and it is hard to get a summary of how have tried this and been successful and how many quit midway due to problems, infections or just too painful. My PS says little more than half of his patients make it all the way through and give up because of the time and pain.

Would love it if anyone could post their success/fail rates on here so myself and others can get a better overall feel for this procedure. THANKS EVERYONE!

    I had a double mastectomy with expanders after. I am having chemo 16 total then radiation. I think it would be smarter to have the final reconstruction after my radiation what do you think?
