I will have my exchange in 2 weeks.  In the last couple of weeks they have been sore under my arms especially my right one which the ps said has a fold in the bottom of it.  I guess this is all normal?  Still the tight feeling.  I will be so glad th o get them out!  Been afraid to take a bath because of the getting out but think I am going for it.  Any try a bath with expanders.  Still have to sleep with a pillow under my right foob.  Have to vent to someone.

I personally found that doing physical therapy helped my tightness and pain a lot.  My PS gave me a referral for PT and I went a few times a week.  I always felt better.  I think unless you work on it, people lose a lot of range of motion from the reconstruction.  I definitely had less tightness after my exchange surgery.  Good luck!

MDG - what do you do at Physical Therapy? I have heard of a lot of people participating in that. Is that something that was recommended by your BS? Also how long did you have your expanders in before you started Physical therapy?

HappilyRetired - I have only had my TE's in for 2 and half weeks and I already hate them... The exchange cannot come soon enough!
