How long between chemo and surgery?

Hello all. I have two chemotherapy treatments left. I will be meeting with the surgeon this Tuesday to determine what our surgery plan will be and to review the results from my recent MRI. For those of you that had chemo prior to your surgery, how long after the chemo ended did you have your surgery? I think the MO told me that it was usually at least 2-3 weeks between.

I had 2 weeks between last A/C and UMX. It was 3 weeks after UMX that I started Taxol.

My chemo ended on Feb 11 and I am scheduled for surgery April 6th. The delay is due to scheduling with my two surgeons. I was worried that 7 1/2 weeks was too long of a delay but have been reassured that it isn't by my MO. I am using the time to get as healthy and strong as possible beforehand

My chemo ended March 6th and surgery is scheduled for April 7th. I was told 4 weeks but part of that might have been because this last round of chemo I did 12 weeks of Taxol with Carboplatin every 3 weeks so my white blood counts and platelets got really low. They want my body to rebuild before surgery then on to radiation.

I had chemo treatments starting in Oct 2014 and ending in Mar 2015.  A/C (DD) and then Carboplatin/Taxol bottomed out my white blood count.  My surgery is scheduled seven weeks after my last chemo treatment.  That is due to my two surgeons trying to schedule around Easter vacations.  I was initially concerned but my Oncologist was OK with it due to my blood count being so low.  I, too, am using this time to do deep breathing exercises and will be starting stretching exercises once my counts get higher so I don't exhaust myself.  I had such a good response to the neo adjuvant chemotherapy that I am feeling confident that the seven weeks will be OK.

I finished on March 3 after 4 DD A/C and then 12 Taxol. My surgery is scheduled for 5 weeks PFC April 6. I think the average is 4 weeks.
