Concerned about recurrence of ILC in left breast

In November of 2010 I discovered that my inverted nipple (had always been that way) had popped out with some extra tissue in a crescent around it. I had an appointment with my OBGYN in a few days and showed her. My mammogram in August had been "normal." She sent me right to a surgical oncologist for a consultation. They did another mammogram and didn't find anything, the same with an ultrasound and needle biopsy. At some point I had breast MRI. After that I was scheduled for a surgical biopsy on December 13. At this point, I was sure that nothing was the matter. I went back to the surgical oncologist on December 23 and was told that I had ILC and that the sample they took out did not have clean margins. I went back to an additional consult and was told that my surgeon would do a "partial mastectomy" and make a donut hole under my nipple since that was where the cancer was. The surgery was scheduled for February 10. Right before my surgery, my surgeon broke her ankle on the ice. Another surgeon was recommended. I met with him and (even though he was a wolrd renowned surgeon, I really didn't like him very much. However, I was anxious to get the tumor removed - so proceeded with the surgery and breast reduction (which this doctor thought was unnecessary) After the surgery, I discovered that he had not made a donut hole, and even had left a part of my nipple! They said that they had clean margins, but I have always been concerned that some tumor was left. Now, I have some raised areas on what is left of my aerolea and am concerned. The doctors don't seem to be worried. By the way, I had six weeks of radiation and have been on Arimidex since 2011. Has anyone else had this issue? Sorry for the mispellings.
