sheila88 - I've heard recommendations like that before as well! I never wanted kids and now everyone assumes I must be heart broken to be menopausal and childless! My husband is from TX and guess what? NO babies! lol!
-
Hi catlady, Welcome to this thread. Don't think I've seen you here before. Did you possibly post to the wrong thread? I don't see a post from sheila88?? or.....maybe I missed it?? That could be....I miss A LOT of stuff! In any case.....nice to see you here!! We are all a bit wacky here and do have lots of fun!

hey
That's me
Drinkin 8 glasses of water a day
I'm always sayin I GOTTA GO
-
HaHa.. Nothing worse than the fear of being "caught short " !!
-
I opt to wear Poise pads.
-
You know, I never had problems with that until after chemo. It doesn't happen all the time, but occasionally I have just a teeny little leak!!
So good to see you GMA!!
-
GmaF
Sooo good to see U
I drank soo much water this morning and then went shopping
I thought I was goin to have an accident
-
-
-
I only leak a bit but if I sneeze, laugh or have to run - all bets are off. Hence the poise lights.
-
I guess maybe that's a normal thing as we get older? Or, maybe it's a menopause thing? Didn't happen to me until after chemo, but chemo did slam me into menopause. I've spoken to a few older women that have the same thing.
-
it happened when I was preggo
And now again if I wait too long
I drink 64 oz.a day
And I do not like water
-
Ok ladies I'm up off the stairs but still struggling - I went up to see the grandsons as I had an appt with my PS up their way. Going home tomorrow - Had Grandma day at little GS's preschool last friday - pictures coming later.
Saw my plastic surgeon Wednesday - he will be doing an "in office" revision in July or August - The open wound scar is very thin and keeps opening. He wants to pull it together and give it better skin to heal - He will also fix the dog ears. He also mentioned that he used to have a cone shaped device that he uses for lipo in office, but they don't use it anymore. He said he would figure out away to still do the lipo 'in office' so not to cost me more money. He still is suggesting I do a 3-D tat on my breast with no nipple or would be happy to try to make me a nipple. Told me to think about it - that I deserve to look nice. Anyway - I am concerned - it is the radiated side he wants to add the nipple to and with LE in the torso also - I just don't think it is worth the risk of cellulitis or another open wound. It did heal well from the reduction/reconstruction. At my age, I'm just not sure its necessary..

Yay GMA!! Locking the basement door.
-
FK, Slowdeep, Gma - you were keeping this thread all to yourselves?? Between this and the Bonfire I can now get rid of Xanax.....lol Lovely seeing you ladies!!
-
Mjh.. Yep.. Lots of us hang out here too.. It's a happy place to be 😃
-
So glad you found this thread mjh.
One night when you can't sleep, go to the beginning and read.
I've spent hours on end being entertained while going through treatment. -
so U found it all by urself MJ
Yup this gang is here too
Just no there is no cure for stupid...
-
slowdeep - love that pic. Laughter is always the best medicine.
FK - yes, I found you. you're weren't getting away from me that easy.
You're right about there being no cure for stupid. When I went to the hospital for preop testing before my BMX the nurse actually asked me if I wanted to have my breasts examined because now they offer breast exams as part of pre-op. I said to her if you want to get a feel, knock yourself out but they're being chopped off next week so I really don't see the point. Yep, can't cure stupid!!!!
-
Still my favorite.
-
HaHa Magdalene.. 😃
Mjh.. Yep.. No cure for stupid.!!
-
hahaha magdalene!
I about fell out of my chair on that one!!
We really gotta laugh at this stuff or we'll go crazy.
If you could only hear the millions of jokes I've told about my half a butt cheek.
Although I must admit, not everyone always appreciates my gallows humor. lol
Laughter really is the best medicine.
-
I found a chicken cake just for you!!
