Lumpectomy vs Excisional Biopsy

If there's anyone out there who has had both, how does the pain/discomfort compare? I was not terribly uncomfortable after my DCIS excisional biopsy and I'm trying to anticipate my upcoming lumpectomy. They'll just be taking more tissue around the involved duct and no lymph nodes will be involved.

I had both, but with SLN. If they are only taking breast tissue, I doubt that you will notice much difference.
