Car accident before third chemo

Options

So there I was, minding my own business at a red light 2 blocks from home after getting a brain MRI, when a Ford Explorer rear ended my Nissan Sentra. My car was totaled. I am having pain throughout my back, neck, shoulders and the worst of it seems to be my right hip from having my foot on the break. I'm curious if anyone has had experience healing after a car accident/injury while in chemotherapy... so far healing has been slow going. I had my next chemo 8 days after the accident. I'm seeing a chiropractor and massage therapist and will be making an appointment with my acupuncturist soon. This is the last thing I needed! Any thoughts would be great!

All I can send is good thoughts. So very sorry you're going through this right now. Hopefully you make a speedy recovery and I recommend you keep a daily journal about your physical and mental well-being. Chemo is though enough but add a trauma like this and it can be unbearable. Good luck Stellasmom.

So sorry you for all you experienced Stellasmom...hope you getting better....Know it's depressing but keeping happy and positive thoughts are good....for example, just night my siblings and friend played several rounds of mahjong...it was relaxing and interesting....perhaps you can find a group of mothers to do something together with your kids, nothing that over exerts you.

Or, go to youtube and watch "Just for Laughs" They never fail to life my spirit...If you feel you are getting the blues, do these things that makes you happy so your kid(s) will not feel too sad. Kids are sensitive beings and they can sense how you feel. Let them know you are a survival, talk to them, explain to them how you feel before and after each treatment, and what they can expect. The more knowledgeable they know, no matter how young, the more they can be with you without feeling confused. They love you and will do their best to support you.
