I started a new thread on recovery from ACTaxol/herceptin but no one has responded as yet. I am wondering how long it took to recover from this regimen. I am worried about neuropathy and how long it takes to go away after treatment. Does it get worse before it gets better? I I am feeling very anxious/depressed after only completing AC and 10 of 12 taxols. Rads and herceptin to follow. Can you tell me your experience of how long it took to recover from the fatigue, neuropathy....how long it took before you had enough hair to go out without head coverings? How long it took to feel somewhat back to "normal"?

I obviously haven't been here in a while. Very sad to see news of those who have passed away. For me, Michelle (LuvRVing) is the biggest shocker. I wish I'd been able to tell her goodbye.

I'm back on BCO as I've started having very sudden and severe menopausal symptoms - I'm only 36. Not sure if this is normal (I did go through chemopause years ago, but things returned to normal-ish after about a year and a half), so I'm seeing my GYN tomorrow....

Anyway, I hope all is well with anyone who might read this. I will never forget how huge this support thread was during our summer in 2011.

I am still around. As time goes on, I spend less time here - but I still get flashbacks.

Michelle was a loss. She is always in my prayers.

Hello all who may visit here! I'm still enjoying life- even on the worst day- it still beats the 11 months that started in March 2011. I think of my sisters in battle of which I met here and pray that you are out there enjoying life. So sad by Michelle's and Stephanies passing two brave warriors who never made it home from this war.

An update - we are now five years out. I hope that everyone will check in soon.
