had my first oncology appt. and my surgeon wants me to have an mri but have to wait for my period. With all the stress i have been under not sure my period will come and anxiously want to get this process started. I had 2 mammograms and an ultrasound but they want an mri as well, so frustrating.

    Hi Nancdancer,

    I too had an MRI but nobody mentioned I have to wait until my period comes. That was 2 years ago and may be the rules have changed. I hope you get your period soon. It is very frustrating to wait and worry!
