Paget's of the nipple

hey guys , I'm quite new I only just had my appointment with a dr just over a week ago for left boob, I was experiencing intense itching bleeding and crusting of the nipple/areola. Anyway my dr suspected Paget's straight away, mind you he was the 3rd doc I had seen.... I have since had a slide test and biopsy and ultrasound and haven tp do another biopsy next week. My slide test results showed I had abnormal cells and malignancy can not be excluded, my ultrasound showed that my ducts were filled and enlarged. My doctor has told meHe is pretty sure I have Paget's but I have to wait another week for biopsy results. I am only 19 and am looking for anyone's previous experience to getting diagnosed or results to biopsies and what you think by the sounds of what they have told me. I shouldn't be looking for answersbut the wait is hard

    Hi Kiri! First of all, we want to welcome to BCO where you will find a wealth of knowledge and experience. We'll sorry that you are going through all this... especially at such young age!

    We really wish tests results come back negative for Paget's. The waiting is hard, and we all know it's not easy to keep your mind out of this worry right now, so we recommend you to stay busy if you can, hang out with family and friends, make some exercise, etc. That will help you get distracted from the fear.

    Hi , sorry to hear this as I know what its like, the waiting is terrible. I was diagnosed yesterday with Paget's and I had been waiting over 2 weeks for the results. As I was told, and it did help, try and keep busy. Hope all goes well for you.

    Hi Kiri. I'm so sorry the initial testing didn't turn out well. I am hopeful that the biopsy comes back clear! *big hugs*

    Hi Kiri,, yes, the waiting is very hard.  Hoping that your biopsy will turn out negative. Keep us posted.
