100% ER+ & PR+??? Anyone else?

I am ER 90% PR approx. 5%. Anyone else with high ER and low PR? My Oncotype is 19 and was told no chemo.

I am ER+100% and PR+ 58%. I have been on tamoxifen for 6 weeks. Maybe too soon to tell but I really haven't had side effects. I get warm at times but that is all. I also take lexapro which can help with hot flashes. I just asked my MO yesterday about side effects. I said since I really didn't have any was tamoxifen not working as well. She laughed and said no. Hope she's right.

I hope so, too, Nancy!

My cancer was 100% ER and PR. I was on Tamoxifen for five years. I would take a baby aspirin with it to ward off the side effect of blood clots.

I'm 100% ER/PR+. I had a BMX on the 26th with re-excision on the 27th due to a blood clot and fluid buildup. I have ILC stage 2, grade 2 multi focal. 2 lymph nodes removed no metastasis. Left breast had cancer, right breast prophylactic. 1 lymph node was removed frommy right breast, no metastasis. No reconstruction. I am overweight and will be seeing a MO on Friday. Can any of you suggest questions to ask?
-
Wild: YOu might want to read some of the threads about Tamoxifen if you are premenopausal. It's another drug if post, but I am not sure what's its called. Arimedex or something like that?
Are they saying if you need chemo?
-
First Wild--you will probably be offered the Oncotype DX testing on your tumor. If not, you should ask about that. I also had ILC, but with lots of nodes and clearly in a position to need chemo. From what you've said, chemo decision may bemore difficult.

Hi everyone~
I had to reschedule my appointment with my MO because I was having heart palpitations caused by GERD. I can usually stop them by taking an antacid but it didn't work. Finally, I took a Pepcid with yogurt and it stopped within 10 minutes. I am also having a monster period which started a week after my BMX. My periods stopped for a year but started again after I had a hysteroscopy which was negative for cancer. I also had a PET and CT which was unremarkable with the exception of arthritis in my lower back. I am 53.
Can anyone comment regarding my menstrual status? I was supposed to start my period on the 16th of February and was praying and hoping that it did not start while I was having my BMX on the 26th. Fortunately it didn't start until a week after but it is crazy heavy and a week later is not showing any sign of slowing down. Anyone else had this experience? I read on one of the threads that sometimes women experience an estrogen rush after surgery and I'm curious how that might factor in to a treatment plan especially considering my weight.
On the other hand, I'm feeling great 2 weeks out, I have excellent mobility in both arms and I'm surprised how unaffected I am psychologically by having the breasts removed. Thank you for the responses. I'm going to write to my MO and ask about having the oncotype orderedbefore my appointment.

JohnSmith-I take Tamoxifen, and am 100% ER and PR+. To date, the only SE I have is getting chilled occasionally.
