Stupid comments ....

My BC nurse navigator told me the only site I was allowed to "troll" on was BC.org!

I am donating my body to the Cleveland Clinic because I am triple negative. Maybe it will solve something!

Meadow, I'm involved in medical research myself, and I did my best to speak with a research assistant, or even an administrative assistant in a research department, but it just wasn't going to happen.  Maybe I should have written a letter before giving up. 

For those who are donating their bodies...thank you.  My career has depended on studying and training on cadavers, and I've always felt a profound sense of gratitude to the people who used to inhabit them.  In my experience, donated bodies are treated with respect and dignity.  No matter what, you will have made a difference.

yeah, like a trawler, a fishing boat using a wide net? And anyway, I can't be a troll, because I am now bald, and a particularly distinguishing feature of every troll I've ever seen is the thick mass of hair coming out of the top of it's head.

You ladies may never know the joy and laugh out loud moments I've had over the utter ridiculousness that has been perpetrated on you! Unfortunately, it also makes me so sad. Well I guess you actually all DO know!

Slappy, junk punch in order. An a-hole indeed. There's seemingly no end to the insensitivity and stupidity. Which as someone so rightly pointed out, is forever.

And so, tonight, I learn, that as brave as I've been, some people consider I'm on the Disneyland of chemo rides. TC. What bs. I have a very, VERY healthy respect for those on A. But it doesn't mean I'm joyriding, either.

I'm doing a lot of head shaking at the stupid comments from yesterday. It's amazing to me what comes out of people's mouths! Chemo-lite? Really??? I can't understand why anyone would feel the need to undermine what any of us are going through, especially if they've been through it too.

And the "I'm a breast man myself" comment deserves a junk muti- punch! What an insensitive ass. (Junk multi-punch. That'd be a good name for a shot, wouldn't it - one shot and you're laid out on the floor)

"I'm a breast man, myself." I've been wringing my brain trying to think of a snappy, snarky reply to this. I'm just so gobsmacked by this comment that it's been a tough job.

Any ideas? Help me out here, girls.

Kayb.....good response.....or maybe her husband should have said, "Gosh had I known, I would have asked the doctor to save my wife's cancer ridden breasts for you...so sorry!"

And then, may I suggest that the sexist pig's mother needs a junk punch for raising such a moron.

Hopeful, thanks for checkin in-, things on day 7 still better than I had hoped. I felt well enough to go, and Wonder dog Jack passed his 3rd and final eval today and became an official Furry Friend Therapy dog!

I feel like I had LIFE today for a change. Not "life with cancer". What a difference!

Here is my splendid little gent after passing with a very proud and grateful me.

By the way, your friend looks really kind and warm, too - just the sort of person you'd want by your side these past couple of weeks.
