Kind of in disbelief

Have you started chemo yet? I had all kinds of weird sensations during chemo.

Trvler - sorry no sleep but I get that for sure! I had weird pins and needles on AC because the tumor was shrinking but nothing after AC. I am having stabbing pains now but that is from the rads. But that is my chest wall I had a mastectomy. What side is the pain on?

At least you see the MO tomorrow, make sure you let them know so they take it serious and check it out. I give them a list every time I see them. Sometimes I have things that just seem off, and they are really off to them or vice versa. You know your body the best. Sweet dreams, I hope! The pain could have been there already, but the diagnosis has made you more aware of your body, so you can feel it now. Same boat as you, always sensitive breasts (hurt for days after one and only mammo), now have a lobular in the right breast (the least sensitive of the two). Over the last fortnight had been developing increasingly severe paresthesia right hand + neck pain: slipped cervical disc!!! Such good timing... Best wishes to you.

HI, I read this and just want to respond because I remember those immediate days post dx and how scared I was every second of every minute. My guess is that it is nothing, honest! Most breast cancer doesn't appear with sudden intense pain. What I have had, since dx, in my right remaining breast, is painful cysts. I had one so bad that I had it biopsied even though the radiologist was certain it was nothing (most cysts look very different on sonograms.) She was right, it was a benign cyst. Of course I was a total wreck until I heard that, but just wanted to tell you this story. You are now on such a heightened state of anxiety that everything will make you nervous. But some things aren't always bad. Hope this makes you feel better. Of course, tell your MO about this! But wanted to make you feel better
