Claire, I'm sorry about your friend. I'm glad you were able to connect by phone.
I walked today about 1.2 miles. Yesterday was a migraine day and had less than 1000 steps for the whole day. Ugh.
-
Claire: So glad you were able to talk with your friend.
Mary: Keep impressing your neighbors!
Sweet: Hope your cough continues to improve.
Odie: That's awesome about your surgery!
Cassie: May today be a migraine-free day.
Fast walked/jogged with afternoon.
-
Claire, so glad you were able to talk to your friend and explain.
No formal exercise today. I am feeling under the weather. Tried to get around the house and walk as much as possible during my appts today to get at least 3K steps in.
Hope tomorrow brings on a better day for exercising.
-
Got several walks in today and a 3 mile run after work. While I hate waking up in the dark, it is nice that it's staying light later.
Cheryl, sorry to hear about your appliance & device troubles. My ipad also decided to go on the fritz this weekend. It types on it's own. I got on the discussion boards on Friday night and the stupid thing removed all my favorite threads as I watched. There was nothing I could do to stop it. In the long run it wasn't too bad as I was able to quickly add back my few favorites (all you ladies!) and in the process I discovered a couple of new ones.
-
Claire so glad you were able to connect with your friend. Odie good to hear your surgery went well. Sweet enjoy SC and get yourself well. Hope you feel better Ladyb. LARock its not your ipad it's BCO I've been having the same problem since the Apple 8 upgrade a couple of months ago, it has driven me crazy you type and then watch the letters catch up and then if you make a mistake and have to go back sheesh, really it's caused me to back off BCO this is the only forum that I post on regularly, I'm usually on late at night and I'm tired and we're not the only ones, others were complaining in the glitches forum it's totally frustrating.
Tonight did a Spin class, first time I've been on a bike in weeks and it felt good.
-
Odie, was thinking of you and how your sight was during recovery-thanks for the positive energy, and for all of you who offered your kind responses.Claire, was hoping your friend was doing better due to the trial. Glad you could speak and sending the card w/photos a good idea. Patoo, thank you for the prayers.
Off to yoga tonight at 8pm with my boy and now to get a new recipe for baked chicken into the oven.
-
all the stress and upheaval due to my dads passing took a physical toll I couldn't do anything in the machines so instead I went to an aquatic aerobics clas
-
Cardio Sculpt & took a walk. We are flirting with record highs & didn't have much snow, so there are actually dry places to walk. Don't know if spring will stick yet, but sure enjoying it while it lasts!
-
aurora I'm so sorry to hear about your father. Hugs to you.
I am feeling run down so just walked the dog 15 minutes despite the nice weather.
-
(((aurora))) Thinking of you.
TH: Hoping you see improvement soon.
Today I painted the workshop/laundry room in our basement. Only part of it needed painting so it went quickly. The walls are cinder blocks and were already painted so I didn't have to seal them before I painted. Only one room left to paint!
-
3/10- nice 35 min end of the day walk. Just love the light in the evenings this week, and saw lots of my neighbors whom I have not seen all winter out walking too!
-
Just walked to and from a rads appointment today for about 1.2 miles total. Didn't feel like walking but was glad afterward that I did. Isn't that always the way it works out?

-
Weather was great today but work is crazy so did not get out at lunch and had appt after. Did a little more house cleaning/clearing since has a realtor coming tomorrow about putting the house back on the market. Suppose to be near 60 tomorrow so will make sure to get out at lunch and walk.
Night sculpted friends.
-
(((HUGS))) Aurora.
Double headed tonight, Body Pump andBody Jam.

-
Aurora, I'm glad you got there in time to say good bye. The ocean sounds like a perfect resting place. That's what I want too.
20 minute walk today. Trying to keep up a little something but not do too much.
-
Auroaya((hugs)) I am glad you were able to spend time with your dad before he passed.
Sweet- I did a sleep study and found out I stop breathing 45 times every hour. I had no idea. We asked for the test to see why I was so tired all the time. With the CPAP I sleep better and wake rested. My brain fog also improved. Definitely worth looking into.
I am not sure when I last posted but I am finally getting to do some running outside with temps in the 40's and 50's. It is supposed to snow again this weekend but for now we are enjoying it!
-
Thinking of you Aurora.
Zumba & yoga tonight. Should sleep well!
-
(((Aurora)))...Big hugs. Glad you had the time with your dad before his passing.
Not allowed to do any strenuous exercise yet so did a nice 30 minute walk on the treadmill tonight.
-
Aurora, ((hugs))
Nothing to report today other than a dog walk and walk to rads. Too many hours at the office
-
3/11- 40 minutes on the weight machines tonight, followed by 30 laps in the pool. Then a nice hot tub soak at the end (ahhh.) I should sleep well too!
-
-
Jazzy that is too funny. Odie the week will pass quickly and you'll be back at Bootcamp before you know it. Glad you got to get outdoors and walk today Ruth.
Did Sh'bam this morning, my instructor is 6 months pregnant and now whenever a song has the word baby in it she rubs her belly, it's very cute
-
Hi, I'll check in now because I will be busy the rest of the day. Cardio Sculpt first, zoom home, shower, meet an old friend who's passing through town for a quick coffee, jump in the car & off to the State Basketball Tournament for the opening round.
-
Thank you everyone for your thoughts about my friend. I am so relieved that she is at peace. Just tidying up all the loose ends now. So grateful that we have medication to keep you relatively free from pain at this time.
Auroaya, so glad you got to be there when your father died.
Yesterday's walk was in a warm drizzle with spring bursting out all around. And Tuesday, I got to do a run after work. I think I am almost adjusted to the time change.
I had a laugh yesterday at a NY Times article about all the detritus that appears once the snow melts. Well, DUH!!! So expect a lot of "clean up and sculpt" for many of us. All I can say from past experience is to make sure you wear gloves when you face this task!
Signing off as a busy day ahead. - Claire
