Happy womens Day shares March 8 with Natl. Peanut cluster day.....go figure. It was announced on one of the cooking websites I am on.
Someone here was in the Camp Fire Girls, I cannot remember who, CHEVY, or Spookie?

-
-
You ladies crack me up!
-
Nope, not me! I was a Girl Scout. And went door to door selling cookies BY MYSELF when they were about 50 cents a box..
-
I will pass on the peanut clusters, as I found my own piece of candy. Two hundred and thirty pound peanut butter cup!

-
I was a Camp Fire Girl and loved it. Then we moved and all they had was scouts.
-
Yummmmm
That looks a whole lot better than my Ben & Jerrys peanutbutter cup ice cream!!'nn
-
You alll r amazing . So fortunate to have u in my life...Group hug
-
Blondie,

-
Jazzy - I love the gianormous peanut butter cup!!!!! Mmmm, peanut butter cup.....
Somebody on the thread asked what's lbgal: it's actually LBgal (Long Beach girl).
Speaking of which - I might soon become SCgal. After long debates with my DH we are considering moving to SC to be closer to his family. Does anybody know/heard of/ can recommend a good breast oncologist in the Greenville, SC area? I asked this question on the triple negative board but I didn't get any answers. Thank you all!
-
group hug right back to you Blondie.....
Spookie, that ice cream sounds pretty darn good.....
I have been piggy out lately, eating everything....
-
It wasn't as good as Jazzys PB monster cup looked! It's hard to go wrong with B&J. Publix had it bogo this week
-
My Mom is diabetic and when I was out in Sarasota I tried her Publix brand sugar free yogurt carmel something.. WOW! I didn't miss anything it was really good. Perfectly yummy. Trader Joes has super yummy dark chocolate peanut butter cups - 99 cents for a nice handful of them. We bought our annual Samoas cookie box from the Girl Scouts! DH finished those in 2 days.. haha
Right back atcha Blondie- group ((((hugs)))))
Ibgal- SC is pretty. You will die and go to heaven with the housing prices! WhooHoo! Hope you find a job you like.
-
Blondie- hope you are home and healing! Hugs!
Good night hermits. Hoping to sleep through the night!

Morning gals! Okay.... wake up! EYE was the little Camp-Fire girl! Hah....! It was sooo much fun... We even went camping.... not far from here.... One night it started raining sooooooo hard, that we all had to pile into the "shelter", soaking wet, with our sleeping bags... but it was a blast.
Made hamburgers by turning an old tomato juice can upside down, cutting out one end, and building our own little fire underneath the can! We cut out a square so the fire would not go out... guess it worked....
No we didn't sell cookies... but we did lots of crafts, and sold them, and went to nursing homes to give them away. And SWIMMING in this old muddy lake.... until the Polio scare, and then we couldn't anymore....
You guys are all so fun.... thought of you with this song.... I LOVED this, when some of us gals would go dancing when our Husbands were deer hunting! WE would go out and have a blast!....

hey ladies today started feeling half way sluve again have been sitting upright most if the day. Can make it to the potty and back without assistance cause legs were so weak. Yea. ! I've been kinda quite remembering mom say " if you don't have something nice to say ...be quiet. Of course nothing bad about you ladies just been in a hard funk. Don't want to bring it around here. But now ,NOW. I feeling much better.
-
Patty - seriously??? You are among friends.. you can be grumpy, icky and moody.. bitchy and what not! It's being human in Cancerland - you've been through the wringer weeks of hospital stays and infections diarrhea! If you were all smiley and happy and goofy upbeat - we would wonder what they slipped you - and where do we go to get some!!!
So glad you are home and sleeping in your own bed, don't over do it! Sleep and rest! Be well and may Spring com to your neck of the woods. I am almost embarrassed at how gorgeous it is here in Oregon 70 degrees... sunny, blue skies and flowers opening everywhere. Normally it's rainy and cold and I better shut up. Love the hugging owls.
-
jealous indeed. Was a mild winter here Til first if Feb and we have had slot of snow ( record amounts ) and ice in the ground. Still snow out there melting was below freezing everyday for like 3 weeks. Really unheard of here. But spring is coming quickly. Flowers will bloom and grass will need to be Mowed often. But yes the sun will shine on me many more days.
-
Spring is busting out all over, sunny blue skies, and flowers blooming?? The best ever! Patty you made it home just in time to enjoy the start of Spring. We have all come so far, we do deserve a beautiful blooming Spring wherever we may be. Have a nice evening!
-
Spring has sprung
The grass has riz
This is where the pollen is
AhhhhChoooo
-
Good one Spookers! Except not here yet.... snow and ice piles still melting.... BUT most is gone off of our Patio, and in the shady area's now.
Peppermint! We are here.... with Rosie.... Just go back and read lots of our posts if you feel down.... or talk about it here.... Or come over here, and tomorrow we will clean up my yard some more.... in the SUN! Oh wait.... You can sit.... I'll do the sweeping, and stuff, and you just sit and enjoy the sun!
-

Chevy, Yay it made it there in one piece. It's smoke grey though not burgundy. But that's okay what ever color you are seeing is okay. I love the feel of the coca cola tapered glass. I got two in cobalt same day. Can't say Coke glass. That'll cause someone to monitor us. Oh, maybe now that's coke spoon. Whatever? It was thrifted with you in mind. If it breaks, tell me I'll find another one. You said previously that you had never seen the embossed glass. Can't say that I have either. But have seen some since. Have fun. Chocolate Coke in an embossed Coca-Cola glass. Small enjoyments.
DBF officially moved out(change of address done--very, very good insurance wise).....All move out days should be so good....Sex....hvac system check.......return air duct filters changed......recyclables taken out(full)......he paid for dinner.....and filled the gas tank.............we laid down some rules(me). We have done this twice before. Not this amicably. CAMI, you are right.......time will tell. Chevy's Reason, Season....may come into play in ways not known. Dini could tell. Dini was quite nervous until he left, then went to the couch.
Patty, Glad you are home. Figure an in-house walking circuit. Kind of like musical chairs, but instead of a chair being taken away, you sit. Recover. Walk a little more.
-
Sassy- I hope the change gives you some peace in your life. We can like people, but it is not always do-able to live with other people.
-
Sassy,

teka&Jazzy,

PattyPepper, doing the happy dance you are home where you belong. Your boys are sleeping better, I believe. Thanks for posting the photos of them awhile back. My DS was my rock during my Cancer treatments. He was 30-31, so could do all sorts of things your handsome young men can't do yet. Try not to overdo, difficult, I know. It's going to take time to get back. ..scary stuff being in the hospital that long......hard funk ? Very few people have weathered the horrific storms you have. We are here for you, all the time. Good, bad & ugly.
Sas, thanks for checking in & keeping us in the loop. Sorry things have been rough with DBF....time will tell.
Spookie, you said Publix had it bogo all week. Does that mean a bargain ?
