What happens after you wake up from lumpectomy?

    oceangirl654...glad you made it thru your lumpectomy with no problems. I know you are glad to have that over and done with. Hope you are doing well.

    Way back in January I mentioned what one of you called a "smurf boob" (like that description!) - I still have the blue dye - about the size of a silver dollar - it is three months now. Anyone else stuck with it?

    I had same procedure on Monday and felt ok after. Also had same size growth as you. 1cm I am now in waiting mode. Very frightened to hear if nodes are fine. How long did it take u to get your pathology results and I am assuming you breathed easy after knowing it was radiation only. I was told people sometimes go on an antidepressant for hormonal issues. Did u?
