    EVERYTHING according to someone or something, causes or increases your risk for cancer.  This is meant to be fun and  I hope not offensive to anyone.  Of ALL the things you have read or heard causes cancer, which one thing made you think... "YEP!  That did it for me!"  And while at it, what has been said to help prevent cancer and made you think "uhhh, that was a LIE!"

    I'll start...

    SUGAR caused mine! 

    Breastfeeding did NOT prevent it!

    I got breast augmentation 10 months before dx....(after a clear mammo and no history of BC). Infuriates me when more than one family member has said that. Do they know the research I did...oh...and that they use implants for breast cancer reconstruction!!!

    My boss sent me a book on positive thinking because apparently that cures all.

    JJOntario!  I didn't even think of that!  I had an augmentation in May 2014 and was diagnosed in January 2015!  I want a refund!  I'm ready to slap the first person that says or asks if I think that's why I got breast cancer.

    Way too ironic...like really. I just spent 10k on mine (not including a bra frenzy shopping spree at Nordstroms) .and enjoyed them for 10 months after waiting to get them for so long. Now they are headache wondering how 6 wks of rads will affect them.
