will call you.

Methinks Sas has been into or took something funny today!

-
I loved Ann's direction for a proper response: "I'm so sorry" Her blog is "but doctorIhatepink.com
-
I just made this, and it is REALLY good! I changed it up a little..... More Ricotta, Bacon...and I used 1/2 a Leek instead of the shallot... And Romano cheese instead of Parmesan.... And I used Kale instead of Swiss Chard....
In other words I didn't follow the recipe, but I just meant to say it is really good!
https://food52.com/recipes/print/17723
And I forgot to welcome that new gal! What's her name? I have to post this, and then go back to the last page....
-
WELCOME YOGA-GIRL! Sorry there! I was all wrapped up in something, and I completely missed you! So this must mean you are into Yoga? I would be too, if I could bend, or even walk!
It gets pretty tricky the older you get.... I'm a little over 50 now.... (the girls will laugh) and I USED to could do the splits....(shut up Cammi) and I could walk on my hands, do front-and back flips.... wait! I STILL do, only it's called FALLING! Hah!
I didn't read your bio yet.... but welcome! We need all the help we can get.... well..... some of us more than others..... if you know what I mean.
-
That was a good read, Jazzy. Thanks for posting.
I can't begin to keep up with this crazy crowd but wanted to check in and send some breezy sunshine from the parched Pacific NW. It's not 78 degrees (more like 48) but it is pretty. If I get some work done it will be a good day to get out and do some early cleanup and weeding.
-
Mommy I only wish I had something funny...........Got some?Chevy relieved. I was reading "how you just made this"......But you substituted everything and added others. I wondered if you would realize it's a completely new recipe that you've come up with.
Spookie Tag your it.
Jazzy that sculpture behind us is a single piece of tree root that a face is carved into the center portion. It's so neat. No two are a like. I call her the Nymph.

ENERVA AHHAH You thought I was crazy about your crotchet items. I was looking for something else and found this. Novica is a placed that people from around the world can market their items.http://www.novica.com/crocheted-clothing/pg-num-2/s/
Novica even has it set up to do loans.
http://microfinance.novica.com/
I've been on Novica's email list for years, but haven't used them for along time b/c I haven't been buying.
PLEASE, check it out
-
Tang sweetie so sorry I missed you earlier. It sounds easy to say don't worry. But just kick the worry out. Have too. Otherwise, it'll just make you crazy with worry. Don't give cancer that power over you. Hey, I working two potentials at the same time. My worry? Where I'm going to lunch with Spookie after I go to Moffitt CC. Then where are we going to thrift.
-
Sassy, Great site. I love their things but am allergic to alpaca (basically everything but cashmere). I would love to have one of those sweaters with all the colors.
-
Wren, keep wandering throughthe different Novica pages.. It's fun. Can you believe I forgot about it for Enerva. Her things certainly rival the things on the novica site.
-
I know Sass.... but I didn't have that Swiss Chard.... just Kale.... I am an inovator! Ha! So but I STILL used that Lemon stuff! It was delicious!
-
ZEST! It was ZEST.... with my official little lemon "ZESTER"..... Hah! I had a brain blink there for a second!
-
Welcome Newbies. I like what Sassy said - "Welcome to the nut house."
Sassy- My DH (Amazing) made appointment to speak with our lawyer about will etc. on Monday. Mid morning I go to discuss DWD paperwork with another doc... guess it's just protocol. There is really nothing to do regarding "will" since it all goes to DH. He knows I want cremated and put under Doug Firs in Breitenbush Forest Oregon. That's it. Should be a short appointment. All done then.. except for repeat paperwork and written request per the law.
I was so disgusted this afternoon. I gathered my crap, food and paint and drove over an hour up to our cabin. Of course it's sunny and lovely, stay a few days and I thought I would make a fire and try to finish painting the bathroom - but it has been rainy and cold. So the cabin door is swollen shut. I tried everything I could to get it open. The locks were off and it frequently gets stuck in winter, but this was really tight. I banged; I pushed, I even slammed it with my butt (which is sizeable!!) until I think I might have moved something in my right hip and lower back... so I stopped. ouch... Unable to get in I drove home. I hate the place anymore.. just one big fat PIA - literally. Plus seeing all the vegetation all pulled out between our place and those pigs next door just upsets me. So I don't think I will be going up there any more.. just upsetting.. not to mention I can't get the door open. Sleeping on the porch is out because nights are below 30... and there are bears and cougars.
Spookie it's nice to know I am not the only person who refuses to wear prosthetics. Yay we need to stick together. Great picture. Wish I knew how to knit or crochet.. next time around. Patty hope you are feeling better. Heard from Blondie she's home yay! Howdies to everyone, stay warm.

Hi everyone--jeez u guys talk a lot and really say nothing.
I love that picture ladies. hard telling the colors but I think I figured it out.
Oh Mamma if u'r planning a party for u'r DH and he loves sports get him a cheerleader that can do the splits, like Chevy claims to. Any man would like a good cheer when he's turning another year older.
Hey Spookie if u'r BIL says 9 in. figure about 4 and 1/2 u know how men are with inches.
Oh Oh Chevy 50!!!! 50 is a memory thing for u Chevy, oh such a memory. U know what they say about remembering years ago easily and forgetting what happened yesterday---well I forgot for now so it'll come to me years from now.
I'm in the same area as some of u and we didn't really get as much snow as way up NE this year, but it's been cold and looks like we're still going to get cold and snow for a while. I'm glad I work from home, cuz I'd miss lots of days for sure. When I did work I took so many days off cuz of weather it was recockulous, I was horrible--I used my days and people would offer to pick me up too, blah tooooo cold and I lived across the street from where I worked and I was a supervisor --but I never took a whole vacation week off cuz I never traveled so I just took a day at a time whenever--Oh well--but I've never taken one day off with this job.
OK I hope everyone sleeps well.

Cami,
Tigger our old cat before Teka would sniff of my pepsi then sneeze in the glass from the carbonation!
-
My dogs don't sneeze in my face, they let loose beer type burps in my face.
BRRRRRAAAAPPPPP oh hi mom!!!!
-
hello
-
First time on this site. So trying to figure it out

-
hi tbryer. Welcome! Pick a topic, any topic and we will happily give you our completely uncalled for opinions. Really!
Spookie, I was almost on my way to north to meet your bil until Cammi did the math for me. Chevy is right. I'm a stramp.:-)

Tbryer, Figuring it out implies there is some sort of plan. In my opinion, there is no plan. It's just friendly chaos with nice people. Feel free to jump in anytime. Expect Chevy to give you a new name. She does to most. There's a lot of good natured teasing and real support when you need it. Welcome.

Boy Howdie, surprises here never end.......
Phyllisawithaweapon/paintball gun, Helllo !!!! you have been missed, worried about, well you do have a shady past, but who doesn't ???? Happy you are feeling good enough to join us, sorry that the evil Cancer has been a PITA recently. Not much has changed, CHEVY is still garbage dumping in her alley. A year ago, she scored some professional buckets from the local medicinal mariquana despository. We have tried to counsel her on aging appropriately, but has not worked out,
Patty, who woo, happy to hear the Dr. Have made progress. You are officially a mom to a TEENAGER ! Look out girlfriend, the change begins. Boys are pretty easy, they are loyal & love their Moms. My 32 year old son told my 28 year old DD recently that I became his best friend, and she ( his sister ) was taking on the mother role. Works for me, I am tired of being the mom, I am happy to step back & be supportive, but not micro-managing, worrying. Of course, we will always be the "mom" & happy to have that privelage. My kids are still my best accomplishment. Smart, hardworking & big hearts.....ok, I am on a tangent now. Hope you are home & getting stronger.
So many have posted in the last few days, can't remeber all....
Tangadang, all good ? have you got the results? I might of missed it.
My sister, had a birad 2 mammo. She got a MRI because of my Cancer. Clear, benign. The Dr. Have requested she get another MRI in 2016. To keep an eye on possible problems. Arrrggg.....I have stage 3 cancer, huge, scary probability of recurrence or mets. No MRI for me. Drs. Say "not necessary". Do I go along with this, or become that PITA patient that wants more testing? Truthrully, I don't worry about recurrence in the Breast, only obsessively think about it setting up shop in the other parts of my body.
Rolling my eyes @ myself.... Give it a rest.....I am a better person when I am busy, all the time. Stinkin shoulder has slowed me down. I did start painting again yesterday. Sanding & painting indoor doors.
Blondie, home sweet home ?
Love to all.......Hi Ho....
-
hey ladies
HI1 - hope you get that shoulder fixed soon 2 teenagers in the house scared me
Yoga girl / welcome. Just jump in whenever
Chevy - dinner sounds delicious. I slways get in the same rut for meals. Def need to venture out to something new .
Hugs and hello to all I missed. Hope everyone is eepung peaceful. P

Paraprosdokians are figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently humorous. Winston Churchill loved them.
1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it.
2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list.
3. Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
4. If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
5. We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.
6. War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
7. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
8. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research.
9. I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
10. In filling out an application, where it says, 'In case of emergency, Notify: 'I put 'DOCTOR'.
11. Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
12. You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
13. I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
14. To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
15. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
16. You're never too old to learn something stupid.
17. I'm supposed to respect my elders, but its getting harder and harder for me to find one now. -
So wait! Hold on one second! We have a new gal???? We have not yet scared everyone off the planet yet?
And her name is "Tbryer"???? I think that stands for "Trubble".... Or does she mean Trifecta... or Tuberrose? She is new! Hi TB! We must behave before we completely confuse you.... !
So what's up? I read one of your posts.... I hope you stay with us... You are going through a LOT! I'm so sorry for all that... But a lot of the gals here know exactly what is going on with you... meaning their diagnosis is pretty similar to yours...
And don't be scared! That's what we are here for... We can make sense if we have to, but hardly ever do... at least me and the other resident tramps... they KNOW who they are....!
There are quite a few gals on here that know lots more than I do... I just know about cooking and gardening and pole dancing.... (not really, but they all get a kick...(pun intended) out of TELLING me so.... See, I fell and broke my hip... because I am ancient...
So stay with us... we will make you smile and feel better... honest!
Phyllidink! GOOD one! You little Dickens! You said "our completely uncalled for opinions"..... Hah! What are opinions? No, you got it wrong. You are not a "stramp"..... I said TRAMP! Dag-nabbit! You can't keep nothin' straight!
Cammi... did you see that? She said "Stramp".... like that is a word.... like you would know....
Morning Wren! "Friendly chaos".... HaaaaaaaaaaahHa! Yes, I mulled over her name a bit... I hope I haven't scared her...
Rosie! Don't go there any more! That is not good, especially with those bad-ass neighbors! You could break something you know.... I mean I know!
Yes HiHo... She came BACK! Just like a case of the hives! Paint-ball gun and all.
Yes, my alley is full of treasures... Those "pot" pots are filled with soil, and SNOW, and just waiting for tomato plants! In this photo, I'm only showing 2.... THE BLACK ONES! They had the "White Rhyno" MJ plants in them! You SEE how big they are! But I finally got the rest of them... So now there are 8 pot pots...! Hah!
Morning Mama & Peppermint... You still talkint to your DH Mama? Do we have to be nice to him now? No! No cheer-leaders... We can't give our men any good looking women... They will expect US to look like that... and do those things.... so Nope!
-
Spookie...??? Are you up? You with the beautiful weather and all? Come here! It's 13 degrees out... and another foot of snow... but they say it is winding down....
Going to meet my Daughter, and our friend tomorrow for lunch.... "Our friend" is her X mother-in-law that she had, when she was once married for 4 whole years, but realized that her DH was ....how can I put this..... He was worthless..... and still is.... And still lives with his Mom and Dad... So now my friend is taking care of her sickly husband AND her worthless Son... Only now her Son has had one heart-attack, and now with a pace-maker plus defib.... maybe having something to do with his wild life, and drug use.....
I just THANK GOD DD got out of THAT mess years ago!
-
Good ones chevy!!!!!!
