Taxol and SSRI antidepressants

I'm new to the group, please forgive me if I'm being redundant. I'm having trouble finding info on the possible interference with Paxil & Taxol, can't seem to get a solid answer from my oncogist.

Anyone dealt with this situation?

    You are talking about Taxol, not Tamoxifen, correct?

    There is information out there regarding antidepressants with Tamoxifen, though not finding info related to Taxol. Very good question to ask. If we find anything, we'll let you know.

    Taxol, the chemo drug. I'm triple negative so I won't be taking tamoxifen.

    I've found one tidbit of info suggesting Paxil (and a few select other SSRI medications) can interfere with the effectiveness of Taxol, but it wasn't from a "medical" site...just making sure I cover all of my bases.

    I took Prozac all through chemo (ac and taxol). it sire how different that is from Paxil.
