My wife just had her second dose of A/C. The usual hair loss, nausea, etc. She had a radical mastectomy and 19 lymph nodes removed. Her rather benign ER+ cancer of the right breast mutated because her estrogen blocker aromasin stopped working. It had become an aggressive type 3 tumor. She has to take tamoxifen now. In 9 of the 19 lymph nodes removed they found triple negative metaplastic keratinized squamous cell breast cancer. It had spread out of the lymph nodes into the surrounding tissue. Her options are few as she is very allergic to taxol and almost died from it. One positive note she's had, just a day after her infusion, for a short duration terrible pain where the cancer is located. Maybe it was being killed.
