Might need someone fluent in French!

Not sure exactly what the current article is describing but a study from 2010 with at least one of the same authors stated:

Our results suggest that weight change during breast-cancer chemotherapy treatment may be related to poorer prognosis with higher recurrence and higher mortality in comparison to women who maintained their weight.

IMO this topic is not very clear as patients have different issues during chemo. Many patients receiving Prednisone during chemo will have an increased appetite and gain weight.

Likewise, other patients have huge issues with the metallic taste and loss of appetite so loose some weight. When I received chemo there were no 'healthy' dietary guidelines offered when I asked for them - simply told to avoid eating raw food for possible illness. Told to eat whatever I wanted - so I had to do all my own research for healthy eating to recover my immune system and anemia from chem side effects.
