Strange question I know, but do any of you notice how heavy the implants can feel? I am having recon surgery next week, and am curious

they didn't feel heavy to me....just a relief to get the expanders out. The implant type I had was filled every few weeks. Now they feel soft...and not heavy. Hope you have a good experience

Thanks for the info. I will be direct to implant, so I just don't know what to expect. Thanks for the info

Mine felt and still feel like me "before" - no heaviness or discomfort whatsoever.

so glad to hear this as I am scheduled to exchange the TE's for implants on Friday. The TE's have been murdering me tonight (the left one which also got infected after surgery)

I had direct to implant surgery. My reconstructed breasts are the same size as my pre-surgery breasts (I have 435cc silicone rounds and wear a 30 just as I did before) but if anything they feel lighter because they are firmer and more lifted than the natural ones were. And well, I don't have the same sensation I did before either. Honestly, I don't think about my breasts at all day to day...they aren't heavy, aren't in the way, do not get in way (I am as athletic as I always was, etc), and so on.

But...I have seen others say theirs felt very heavy so it is variable

I wish you a smooth and uneventful surgery and recovery!

This is great to hear. I am going smaller than I was before, and smaller than my PS would like me to go. Even though I was only a C before, I was never comfortable with them. I will now be a B to small B, and I think that will work better for me. I have been flat since my surgery in Jan, and I now know that I want just a little something to make my clothes look a little better. Thanks everyone
