    One of my oldest dear friend just called me and told me they found a mass on her liver

    I was a mess all day...

    I can remember in a storm when I lived in BROOKLYN it came up to my waist

    For anyone who was following my purple boots...I got them

    What crappy boots they r

    Too small,not purple,couldn't even get the damn things on.My legs started cramping....

    Those little tiny SUKAS (snow) is gonna be comin down all week..

    It's ok cause we r havin an apt.inspection on Wed...I have plenty to keep me busy.

    BTW I made great banana muffins..my taster(the manager) said the best I did so far.

    Saw the plastic surgeon's PAC yesterday - looked at my scarring from surgery and asked point blank: "Did Dr. talk to you about revision?" Say what??????- "I see you don't have a nipple... Was Dr going to make you one? - I said we discussed it and decided it is not necessary. Then he replies; "Oh great, then he can take care of your 'dogears' in the office. It will take about an hour with local anesthetic." - Ok, I didn't see that coming..even though I had that question.. He also said the dogears won't get better at this point, they need to come off. It seems like they haven't billed me for any of my post-op visits. Starting to think that is included in the surgery. But I will be glad to have the extra 2 boobs under my arms gone...(DH calls me a quadra-boob LOL). Guess they lyposuction the extra swell under the arms then flatten out the pointy scar..

    Having fun with the grandsons this weekend even though we couldn't get their online game working on 2 computers so they can't play together . They are taking turns - not as much fun that way, but oh well. When I come up to stay a week, I will bring my work computers and then all three of us can play together.

    Hi all from a very sunny summers day. Thought that comment will make some around here really happy. LoL However we did get a couple of much needed showers which unfortunately cleared up. It is getting towards the witching hour and I should be thinking about sleep but have got into a comfy position and don't feel like moving.

    Have my wonderful friend from the UK here and we are having fun planning our activities but I have to be careful how much I do. Firecracker I will go down to Tauranga where Rae lives and stay with her for a few days. My friend has folks there to visit.

    DD is really tired of the snow up in Ontario where she lives.

    Other news is that we are planning our trip for the end of August after the new grandchild arrives.Should be in PA sometime in the last week of August.

    Big hugs to all and hoping spring arrives soon.

    Went to dentist for cleaning. Found a cavity under a crown. $1100. to fix it. Today ended up another $285 for xrays, exam and cleaning. We don't have the money especially with a revision in my future. Dentist said not to delay more than a couple months or i will most probably lose the tooth. Not my week.

    GMA..........Went to the dentist on Tuesday.....cleaning, exam, x-rays...$285.00.....I think we should play that number...........I have 2 cavitites......1 small on the bottom.....another on the top between a natural tooth and a crown......she said "this does not look good.....will clean it out and see what we have, this could be a root canal"..................great news right.................and if the tooth is weak and it needs a crown that will be another charge......so the entire thing could cost $2,000 or more...........I had dental implants down a few years ago...........got hit in the mouth and it broke my permanent bridge.......it could not be fixed........by the time I was done with this dentist, that periodontist, the endodonitist the final bill was $34,000.............everyone said "pull them all out".............I could never do dentures........I couldn't even wear a removable bridge........had 3, none worked......so I bit the bullet...(no pun intended) and had it done.........Oh she also replaced my 3 tooth implant crown....that fell off after years, but no big deal.....she glued it back in.....by the time it falls out again, I'll be dead.............LOL.

    At nearly 80 who feels like spending so much money on teeth, but I will.............

    My husband had to have a couple teeth pulled this year and they told him that the teeth they pulled would have been the ones to hold the bridge, so now he can only have an implant - no bridge - couldn't afford that so all his back molars are gone and no teeth - Just feel bad, we can't make the med insurance payment this month because of it. Not sure what to do.... sometimes life just sucks...

    Gma......The implant cost $1,800........then its back to the dentist for the crown 1 year later.....anohter $900....and that is 1 tooth....I had 3 done......there are cheaper dentists around who claim they do implant cheaper and in less time.......my guy was great.

    I could use a plate on the bottom with 2 more implants to hold it in instead of that Polident crap, but have not done it yet.........missing all bottom molars like your husband......one with each baby.........and 56 years ago all they did was "pull"...........

    If he does decide to do it ....don't be sucked in by the cheap prices....get someone who comes highly recommended......it is a lot of work, time, and money to find out you got a bad job down the line.

    Learned from having root canals from a regular dentist instead of an Endodontist......always get the specialist for dental work..........in the end it pays......paid 2 times for 3 root canals.......years later......

    I am down in Nelson with my DB and SiL. Came down with my friend from the UK who has now gone off with a school friend of hers Could have gone too but it would be too much for me and this silly back of mine.

    Ducky , for some reason that doesn't make me feel better. As my DH says, it is what it is. I know if i ask my church to help us with the dentist bill they will, but hubby is too proud to ask. When do I go over his head and ask?

    Had another sternal spasm today. It's hard to remember its not a heart attack. We have had sunshine for a week but today it started raining again. Wonder if that has something to do with it.?

    Spending that kind of money never makes anyone feel better, but just saying if he has to get it done make sure he gets the best......I wish my entire mouth was dental implants...they are better then real teeth.........especially if your real ones are always costing you money......for me it is never ending.........
