Pure has been posting on fb. She has a private group where she is posting about her treatments. If you are fb friends with her, send her a private message to join the group.

Here are her two most recent posts about her test results......

I just got my mri results and all the tumors wrapped around my spine are gone! The tumor pressing against the spinal cord is gone. The mri shows a healthy amount of spinal fluid between the tumor and the cord. No surgery needed!

I have been waiting on my tumor markers.

CEA went from 80 to 40 which in a two month time period is fantastic.

My CA 27.29 was at 6000 in December. As of today it's 1286 which is normal.

    My tx is working !!!!!!!!!

It's very unusual for numbers to drop this much in a short period of time.

Tears of joy..... Tears of joy:)!

I've also been seeing Pure's updates on FB. She posts on her personal page and also on the group she's in. However, the group she's in is for Stage IV so I hope my good friends in the Stage III forum NEVER EVER are eligible for it!

I'll send her a message to ask if she wants those of us who see her on FB to keep you updated or if she feels up to coming back here.

Thanks for posting.  I'm not FB friends with her and understand if she wants to stay private...she's on my mind and wanted to know how she was getting along.

So sorry I haven't updated. I have been a bit overwhelmed with it all. I am doing well. My markers changed and I am now ER PR and Her two positive so I have a lot of tx options. BUT the tx I am on has been working incredible well and I have had an amazing and fast response. I have spinal mets so I had been in a wheel chair but here I am four months later walking, almost running:) I work out and swim. My doctors are very hopefull that the targeted tx I am going through will get me in remission for a very long time. I am on facebook so if you look me up I can invite you to my group for updates etc. Thank you for thinking of me:) Love and blessings to all of you. One day at a time.

I have been stunned at your wonderful response to chemo. I did not know about the Her+, but this means more treatment options. Agree that you should expect to be here a very long time. Did I mention, you are my hero!!! - Claire

    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to update you. I have 1 chemo left and then they will be doing a CT scan. If I am stable or have improved more I will move to just Herceptin/Perjecta/Tamoxifin once a month. I feel really good. It's very strange but I am handling this diagnosis better then I did the first time. I know where I stand but I have a lot of hope. There is SO many tx's it's crazy. Seems like a new tx comes out every month.

Chemo is hard...but I am getting through it and we have come together as a family. I feel surrounded by a lot of love and hope. If I were to give you any advice I would say this:

GET tumour markers bc they do work for some and if caught early you can go into complete remission.......

STOP your fear bc you will regret all the wasted years fearing what you can't/coud'nt control. Just like you take your meds to stay cancer free get help to stay fear free.

    Much love to you all......

Wonderful news, and I can vouch from your Facebook postings that you have been living a complete and full life recently. My learning is that we need to live for today, and make sure we do those things we had always planned to do.

I am so proud of you! And I am also convinced you will be just fine. Life is wonderful. - Claire

It's very hard to write this post. Jen passed away earlier this week. If you followed her on Facebook, you already know, but I thought there might be others here who had not heard.

Jen was such an inspiration to other Stage III-ers here when she was initially fighting this disease while pregnant. Chemo, surgery, radiation—she went through it all. And when her beautiful son Killian was born, healthy, all the "aunties" on here cheered and rejoiced with her and her family.

Fourteen months of living with metastatic breast cancer is not very long. But she got to do things with her children that she hoped for.

And Killian, the wonder baby, started school.

Light and love to her family.

She will be so missed by so many. She was an inspiration on living our lives authentically.

    I still can't believe it's true.

On fb, one of Jenn's friends has posted a mealtrain link to help with meals. Another friend make a beautiful montage video of Jenn. There is also a link for donations. So, so sad.
