PET/CT scan today at 11:30
to check on lung nodule that has grown 1 cm in about a year. I am beyond terrified. If you are the praying sort, please send one out and any support is welcome

the PET scan showed only the one nodule. But it is still suspicious so now we are having a biopsy. Any thoughts are appreciated

Keep positive! Try to refocus your energy on positive tests. I remember when I had two nodules on my lungs, doctor performed so many scans. Anxiety was creeping. He waited five more days for another test and they were gone. Miracles happen everyday. Sending you positive vibes....

after meeting with my oncologist today, we decided to move straight to surgery to take it out. I should be having it soon. He is encouraged that there is no other spot on the scan that is suspicious for malignancy
