bev, such a brave job he does, may God hold him in the palm of his hand.
-
hi all sick of winter sick of snow and sick of grey skies. Asking my onc for a script for sunshine.
-
Hahaha. Good luck with that, Maureen. I am not a fan of summer, but even I am getting grumpy with the dark, cloudy weather. Wait till it gets above 70-then you'll hear MY whining.
-
I am a 70F degree gal. Anything higher I'm hot anything lower I'm cold. I don't even like sunbathing. I just want sun.
-
Me too. God really wants me to be refrigerated.
-
haha

Happy Valentine's Day to my wonderful friends.
Thinking of you today bev. Love and hugs coming your way.
Guess what it's snowing and cold hmm what a surprise. Enjoy the day sweet friends
Maureen

Happy Valentine's Day to all, also thinking of you bev, the only good thing to say about WNY is we aren't Boston - poor souls.
-
Happy Valentine's day. Keep safe and warm. I couldn't wait for half-price chocolate so I bought some at
Walgreens's today. Full price was worth not having to go out tomorrow with the -40 windchill they're predicting.
-
agree. We were supposed to see the miniature train show in Hamburg today. Bruce's favorite hobby but woke up and said ummmm no
-
I love you all. Thank you , each and everyone of you for all of your love and support. -
bev, you are loved in return.
-
Right back to you my sweet friend. Hugs and kisses through cyber space to you.
Maureen

Hi and warm hugs to all my friends. This freezing weather is fricken awful. We better have a fabulous summer after all this. And Karen you are right. Poor Bostonians are getting it worse.
Bevin, continuing to pray and sending you and your familycomforting thoughts.
Hope to see everyone after this weather breaks.
-
Happy birthday Jan!!!
-
guess what's?
It's snowing
And
Cold
Hehehehe. Just thought you'd like to know
Tell me to shut up anytime now
-
Shut up Maureen. It was so cold here this morning (-18) that the dogs refused to go out. Had to drag them outside, then they danced on 2 feet and cried. I brought them back in and then they peed. Oh well. We have a few washable pee pads (5 of the 6 dogs are over 12) so it was all good. I wouldn't want to go outside either.
After living in Minnesota for almost 30 years, you'd think I'd be used to his....but you'd be WRONG.
-
I saw the temp on the weather in your area. I'd be afraid the pee would stick to the dog. I don't blame them for saying the hell with that and going back to bed
This is getting ridic

This is a snowman someone built a bit down the road from where I live! Even the snowmen want out...lol!
-
that is too funny. IWas just notified via text we have another windchill warning till Friday. My BIL is in a state of emergency in Kentucky for 1foot of snow. My DH called him a light weight as we consider a foot of snow a dusting. They are not used to snow there. Last week it was 65f degrees and today they are snowed in.
-
love that snowman -
Same here with the bitter temps for Thursday into Friday! Straight up temps of -5 to -15 with wind chills as low as -20 to -30! Dang that's cold! We live on a hill and the wind up here can be brutal! Usually keeps us at the low end of the temps. I guess the pup and I will take an extra long walk today and enjoy the balmy 20's...lol
-
stay safe jenife
-
Oh yeah, more snow, then the freezer moves back in. Makes me thankful for a litter box, good girl Iris, Sophie, Mac, and Betty's girl, hope you are feeling better.
-
so DS is out on a call due to car accident which leads to two questions
Why are they out when wind chills are -30 degrees and why do people drive like idiots?
I was driving a couple days ago and saw obvious black ice so I slow down and some dingbat whizzed by me and surprise they spun out
Ok rant over
I want to whine that it's too hot
-
I love winter. Of all the seasons, summer is my least favorite. I hate sweating and having my undies stick to my butt.
HOWEVER, this winter is really beginning to annoy me. I never saw a -20 dew point until today. And the dogs will only go as far as the foot of the front steps to pee-so there is a wonderful yellow frozen lake to welcome visitors. And don't get me started on drivers.
On a brighter note-I decided to take classes for Master Gardner. It's quite a process, I guess. Have to fill out an application, and be interviewed and everything. Something to take my mind off the cold.
Keep warm everyone and stay home.
-
master gardener Wow good for you. I try to garden usually with little success in the vegetables department. Flower I do ok.
Ask karen about her gardening skills. Hehehehe. Love u karen
