funthing, I'm so sorry you have to go through this nonsense again. Hope rads go well for you and you have minimal SE's. This crazy bunch will keep you going.
Ducky, you just ALWAYS put a smile on my face.
Tomboy, come out to play!!!
Joan, hope you survived all the snow. Every morning I think about your commute and wonder if you got there safely.
I went to a shrink today. It's a requirement for the pain management program. I start on March 17. I'm hopeful that it will do some good. Seems like they deemed me sane and ready to move on to the next step....boy do I have them fooled. hahaha

Got back on my bike today for the first time since being diagnosed.. Only rode for 15 minutes.. But it felt GOOD. !!!
-
That's how I do it Lucy, I start small and go from there.
-
Mommy.. So you like to ride too? I only stated riding a year or so before being diagnosed but I love it.. My doctors told me that the one main thing I could do for myself to try and prevent recurrance was to exercise.. Luckily I enjoy going for walks anyway.. But now want to go for a ride each day as well.
-
-
Bikes aren't my thing, I have a Gazelle that I work out on. Its great for working out especially when its cold outside.
-
Lucy-how did you get my butt on that bike? Looks like I have tonnage to lose before spring.
-
I do daily exercise
If im in my apt I do stretches all day
I havnt been on a bike for many yrs...
But I do walk and never use the elevator...steps at least 5-6x a day

Hi Ladies,
I have posted this in a few threads to raise awareness of this petition, as I think it's an important cause to all of us. But response has been slow and has basically stalled. I am wondering if many people are not seeing it, so I am now posting it in some of the active threads. I hope you don't mind me doing this. If so, I will delete it.
Some of you might be familiar with Ann Silberman's great blog "Breast cancer...but doctor I hate pink", which has chronicled her journey from diagnosis to metastasis. I know many of us share her concern that Pinktober madness does not necessarily help towards BC research for a cure. She has started a change.org petition requesting that more fundraising dollars be allocated to finding a cure rather than just raising awareness. I am posting the link here, hoping that we all can support this cause, by signing the petition and sharing on social media. Thank You !!

So far he hasn't come down with one. Knock on wood that he avoids getting one.

I thought I had read her post. I think she was asking people to sign the petition about Komen. It is also in the Advocacy forum,, or it was last time I checked.
