Pelvic and leg pain.... Possible bone mets on ct scan

Options

first time posting and to say the least I am freaking out some.

Was suffering from back/leg pain, long story short a hysterectomy was done thinking that would also help since I was having other problems there anyways. 3 weeks after surgery, I was still having problems lifting my leg and walking. CT scan was done and because of my history with breast cancer they are assuming it is bone mets, it showed holes in my pelvic bone and across my back. Completed a PET scan today. Planning for a biopsy depending on scan results.

Anyone have good news with something like this?

I'm actually going through the same thing with pelvic and leg pain. I got a bone scan which showed hot spot there then I had a CT scan that said it's degenerative in my SI joint in my pelvis. So I'm waiting a month and having another scan. They said it will be hard and painful to biopsy that area. I've been taking a lot if supplements hoping in will stop the inflammation. I still have to take pain meds every few hrs. Hoping it's not mets but it's doesn't look so good. Goodluck to you and hopefully it's not mets!!

Anyone have good news with something like this?

I did have both hipbones and L5 with bone mets, but after chemo, radiation to those spots and Xgeva monthly, they're totally gone. That's the only good news I have to offer. I hope in your case, it's not bone mets at all.
