Jaynie, I am so very sorry. You've been through SO VERY MUCH. Words just escape me. I just wanted
you to know others care - even if we don't know you, even if we live far away. I care.
You are in the absolute worst part of the diagnosis right now. Especially when you are awaiting that MRI. It is
so terrifying. It does get better after you know what you are dealing with and when you have a treatment plan in place.
The absolute biggest thing, I believe in these beginning stages is make sure you trust your surgeons and oncologist. If your gut tells you they are not a good match for you, seek other doctors.
Sending you a virtual hug...

Jaynie-you've come to the right place. I'm so sorry this is happening to you.
Everyone here knows the shock and fear you're experiencing. It does get better, I promise. Once you know exactly what you're dealing with, and have a plan in place, things will calm down. Until then, check out the boards here. There is so much information here, and so many boards to find yourself in. Please stay in touch-let us know how your MRI comes out.
(sorry for the italics-the key got locked mid post.

Thank you so much - I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back. I am so appreciative...so very, very much. The last month has been a blur. I have felt very muddle-headed. My cancer is invasive stage 2a, I had a mastectomy / reconstruction (left breast) Really happy with surgeon and plastic surgeon - very nice and kind. The pathology showed the tumors were grade 3 which terrified me..but the surgeon said the main thing is it is all out and the op. was very successful. I am classed as lymph node negative but there was a sign of some lymph invasion. I am now waiting for the results of the oncotype test which seems to be taking ages to come back (over 2 weeks). I am er/pr +. Her2- I am expecting chemo..not sure yet for how long. I am concerned about the impact of this on my sons - as it will be a visual reminder of what their dad went through. Feel very worried..especially if oncotype test result is high....and it is hard not having my husband here as he would have been so supportive, he was great - I was very lucky. Again thank you for the support xxx
