Sick of the groundhog hype. Its all based on folklore, not science! Doesn't matter if the rodent saw his/her shadow or not, because between Feb. 2 to the 1st day of spring is still six weeks
-
FK............No storm here.......we dodged the bullet....tiny bit of snow, but rain, and windy.....wish it ould all go away..........
-
Poor Stella had 2 seizures withinn 1 hour last night....back in the Vets......hopefully they can get her meds straight (Pheno Barb), so this stops.......she has to go to neurologist now......not sure what they are thinking......poor thing........
-
So sorry for Stella. Awful to look at those sad eyes of hers and know she is suffering. I hope they get it figured out soon.
Mommy, I kinda enjoy seeing the groundhog. lol I remember being so excited as a kid. I think most kids always want a longer winter - unlike their parents. It's really just all about the food, celebration and tradition. It's not as big of a thing here in CA for obvious reasons. Same as St. Patrick's Day. It was big where I grew up in NY, even us Italian kids knew the Irish jig....not so much here in CA.
-
HaHa.. I always think.of the movie.. I often feel like I'm stuck in Ground Hog Day too
-
hahaha Lucy!
-
Poor Stella. Hope they can get her meds worked out soon.
As a kid, I loved to see the groundhog. This year I think poor Phil had enough and wanted to be left alone. No wonder he bit the mayor on the ear! I must confess, I laughed when I saw that. I HATE to be awakened when it's cold, so I think I know why the groundhog was grumpy.

At my post-op check-up yesterday, the assistant to my PS said I can start wearing my sports bras.
Tried that this morning and could only manage two hours before I had to take it off because it was hurting because it was pressing on the areas where I still have the drains!
-
if it hurts U shouldn't wear it
-
-
FK, I stopped wearing it after two hours of torture. Had to take a med for pain after that. That was the first one since Sunday.
-
Mommy, you did right in taking the bra off when it hurt
maybe you should call the doc? it may be normal to hurt at this time but can not be bad to call and check...spoken as a real worry wort~~
-
Might wait until the drains are out to try again.
-
Mom..........HELLO......why[ would you put on a sports bra which usually fits tight when you still have drains in...........shocked the Doc said it was ok to do that.................LEAVE THE DAMN BRA OFF............
Ok, I"'m done.......LOL
-
Mommy, Do you want or need to wear a bra? They make post-surgical bras to wear when you still have drains. Many times the docs or the facilities have them for you. In my area, there is a support group that has drawers and drawers full of bras to give to cancer patients. Perhaps there is a similar group in your area.
Honestly, sometimes I think these docs don't think....
-
this after surgery R worst then a sports bra
At least the ones I got
Find a lose old bra or go without anything till the drains R out...
They have tank type bras that R not bad either
Ask Ducky...I had soo much trouble with the bras...everyday I was lookin for another one to try
Nuthin worked for a long time..even after therapy I had problems
Good luck..I wish U didn't have to go through this...it suk
-
Going to wait to try the bra again until drains are gone.
