How about these...................more you.....don't you think.............

Love the boots! Forget the Red Hat Society. I think we should have a Bad-Ass Purple Boot Society!
-
Love the plane. Makes me want to take off. To hard to run from this.
I need to vent just a bit. So off with the wigs.
Thank you for the warm welcome.
-
WOW....I have a lot of catching up to do.
I will try and do that later.
In the meantime......Welcome to the newbies!!
The women here are awesome
and keep me laughing on a daily basis!!If anyone can rock those over the knee boots,

Guess I missed the party....
Lucy, I have insomnia a lot, too. Glad I could watch the Australian Open Tennis live all night. It's over now
I have to get up in about 4.5 hours. Snowing here....will turn to rain at my house but at work will be snow so my commute will be messy. Who knows, maybe they will cancel my classes again.
If you are new or old and your circumstances seem to be changing, please stay around here. This is one thread where you will laugh, cry, give, take, and toss - throw - airmail your stuff that you are done with or that you don't want to deal with into the fire.
Or, just hang out...we love to sit around the fire and chat or doze.(((FK))) I hope that Brian is as good as before and that he is stable. I know it takes everything out of you to think about him and wait for these reports. Your love is boundless for your kids and grandkids...glad you are getting the boots...it is about time you did something nice for yourself.
Jo, glad you checked in. So sorry about the tooth experience. I would never undergo what you did without the IV sedation. At least it's behind you now. Where are you off to next??
Gotta try to sleep...but I read everything and hope for the best for each one here.
I'm gonna lie down by the fire to doze off...it's just nicer knowing you are all here. -
good morning
Nice to see U Joan...as always...
I hope ur class gets cancelled....
We got about a foot of snow and it's still comin down
Wonder if my boots will come today.lol
I'm gonna bake a banana bread, take a shower and play cards at 2:00
As I look out the window I feel so blessed that im not workin anymore...Thank u God...it looks so pretty from my windows...

We got pouring rain................
-
So good to see you Joan.
I tried to catch up, but you have all been so busy.
Think I'll just start from here.Thinking of you today Tomboy. I am permanently fixed in your pocket!!
funthing.....i really like your name!! By all means, throw those darn wigs in the fire!!
I spent so much time picking out the perfect wig. By the end of my last chemo I was so sick of the wig!!
I stopped wearing it and just went bald!! It was, hot, sweaty and uncomfortable.I never really lost my hair all the way. I have dark hair, so I had a dark rim around the whole thing. I also had little hairs growing in the middle. Must have been those strong Italian hair genes. Here is my bald picture and my last chemo. So, I say ditch the stinkin' wig and live proud and bald. hahahaha
Edited for my usual mistakes. Also, they say your ears never stop growing. I'm in big trouble. hahaha
-
Slow.. You look beautiful. ..and there's nothing wrong with those ears.! 😃
-
So pretty.......my adopted daughter.......hugs gorgeous........
-
Went bald or wore a bandana most of the time when I was on chemo unless I was going out in public.
Snow has been falling at a good clip today. Looks like by this evening it could be over. Now they are saying that they are watching more storms for the weekend!
-
slo,,,U look like a kid...no wonder Ducky adopted U
Listen up
One of the sistas asked me to check out change.org
Please sign the petition, but check it out first
Carry on
-
Joan - I finish up this week at our sister park and then go home. Yeah! Tired of freezing my ass off in a pop up camper. The bright side to this week is I am having lunch on Wed with a BC sister. We meet up frequently. We should - we only live a little over an hour apart.
Slow - Love the chemo picture. What a beauty you are. Thanks for sharing.
-
Thought this was something to share......it is the full moon seen through my family room window which is in the vaulted ceiling.
-
Ok,, I'll try again.....this is the full moon seen through my family room window.......this is high in the vaulted ceiling.......
-
Love that picture, Slow. You are delightful.
-
It was a gorgeous moon last night! But WOW, freezing outside! Its in the 20's here. Stoke that fire up - it's cold!
-
Was -7 with wind chill here at 5 a.m.

HI, girls I heard that some of you are having trouble posting. Your characters are coming up really slow when you type. Us girls are having the same problem over in the Lymphedema thread (read in the Kick butt thread, if you need more info.) I emailed MODS and they said it may have something to do with the text editor and they are looking to fix it in the next couple weeks. It has been driving us girls nuts so I hope the solution is permanent. It not only happens with our iPads, but this morning it happened while I was on my desktop MAC. But it seems to right itself as I am posting this with no problems as we speak. grrr.
Ducky. That is such a beautiful full moon pic. Almost creepy with those trees in silhouette.
I would like to throw all my lymhedema sleeves and gloves into the bonfire then throw alcohol onto the fire. Do I have permission? Opps …maybe that is wasting alcohol.
-
Thank you....you are all so very kind.
Ducky, I'm honored to be your adopted daughter!! That is such a pretty picture of the moon. I bet it looks really cool glowing inside of your home.
Lucy, I don't fly on airplanes, so I'm thinking big ears may come in handy some day. I mean, who needs a broom when you have Dumbo ears. hahaha
Jo, I'll be glad when you're home and warm. I'm getting so excited about your trip in May.
Kracker, I saw that website on another thread and I'm off to sign my name as soon as I'm done here. I'm all for anything that gives more dollars to research. Ann definitely has a huge fan base on her blog, and I'm sure it will reach many people. I hope that anyone that has a blog or Facebook will post it on theirs too.
Wow Mommy, -7 is just crazy. Hope you're all staying safe and warm by the fire. You've all had some brutal weather.
Hugz, I'm thinking we should drink the alcohol instead of throwing it into the fire :-). Unless you're talking about rubbing alcohol?? I can't remember if I've seen you here before - if not, very nice to meet you!!
Tomboy, Gentle hugs to you!!
I was looking at old pictures yesterday and I can't believe how fast my children have grown up. Seeing that picture of Kracker from a few years ago got me thinking. We should have a blast from the past day here on the Bonfire. Wouldn't it be fun to post some old pictures from when we were young and crazy....and, smaller?? haha I have very few of myself without a hand over my face, but there are a few in existence. Seems like it would be something fun to do. Maybe we can do it on Krackers party day!! Just a thought.
Hope you all have a wonderful, pain free day. Love to all.
-
That's a great idea! I love it! I only have a few pics of me, lost lots along the way. Slow is beautiful inside and out!! I will go and check out change.org now. Colonoscopy turned out great, don't have to see them for ten more years. At which time i will just say no. love you all
-
Hugz.......same problem here........get very frustrated, that is why I don't post like I use to ......hope they fix it...I am also an owner of a LE arm......hate it.....ugly, sore, and a Royal PITA............
Slow.......love the idea what fun looking at old pictures...........
Waiting to hear news about Stela.....forgot to tell you all.......she had 2 seizures in 1 hour last night.........she is on Pheno-barb, and still having them....just hope they[ can get her meds regulated so it doesn't continue to happen.....it is a horrible strain on my daughter, SIL, and the 2 kids.......
-
Slow.. What a wonderful idea.. It would make partythe party lots of fun.!
Tomboy.. Glad your colonoscopy went well. I have mine on the 20 th of this month. It scares me.. I had my last one 5 years ago.. and did have some small polyps. :-(
Ducky.. Hope Stella is O.K.!!
Mommy. Wow. That is cold!
Hi to everyone else.!
