hi everyone I'm new on here, and I'm hoping for some advice on my situation. Last year July I noticed that under my right armpit was very swollen and painful to touch it was worse during my time of the month. I waste no time in seeing my gp who gave me a breast exam and said it felt like fatty tissue in my armpit but still sent me to the breast clinic who then told me that they couldn't see anything on the scan or feel anything during the physical examination and recommended starflower oil for breast pain and it's more than likely that my harmones are to blame. A week ago I started having sharp pains under my right breast along with a fever I decided to go to a&e where a doctor told me I have a lump on the upper outer quadrant of my right breast. It's extremely painful to the touch and everything hurts on my right side. I've been referred to the breast clinic again and I'm waiting. Worry is clouding my mind any advice would be appreciated.

Thank

Cristal - I'm glad you are having this checked out. Idk if it's BC - obviously hope it isn't. Try not to worry. When is your appt? Waiting is the pits but know this whatever it is you can and will deal with it. Keep the faith and keep us posted.

Cristal- I hope you are feeling a little better today. I hope the lump is less painful to the touch and that you are taking something to make you more comfortable. I hope you are able to get answers at your next appointment. Thinking of you

We hope that it is hormonal or an easily cleared up infection. Waiting is very stressful and everyone here knows from experience how hard it is, and will sympathise. You are not alone but we are glad you've sought medical assessment of the problem.

We hope it is soon resolved and you can get back to your life. Your symptoms could be a number of causes and we wish you a benign one.

    All our best
