It's bad news , good news, routine
Well, of course it is!
~~~~~~
Bad news: Cataracts
Big enough for surgery
THAT'S the GOOD News!
~~~~~~
LOL. Yep. Big enough for insurance to pay for surgery. I was hoping for a year without sx. Oh well. 12 in 4 years isn't so bad, is it? LOL
Much love
-
Awwww cute baby, Monica! I have cataracts brewing too, don't know if it's heredity or tamox. Mom had the surgery and says it's an easy one. Good luck and here's hoping for a surgery-free 2016 LOL.
An apple a day
Can't keep the doctors at bay

The wind is howling
Snow falls sticking to more snow
Wisconsin Winter!

Cuddled up with cats
Reading JD ROBB again
Coffee at my side

Walking in the snow
Cold, wet, stinging face and hands
Just to go next door
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Arrive in the warmth
Settle in for Super Bowl
Spending time with friends.

Watch the snow falling
Along the eastern seaboard
Trying not to laugh.....

Tiny little toes
Such a miracle, small joints,
Perfectly formed toes.
Sitting on a bus
Hubby by my side, we head
For Chichen Itza

Ice blue winter sky
Cloudless and cold. She peers out,
Glad to be indoors.

Clear blue sky, sunny
Warmer than it's been for months
Northern people smile ♥
(Monica, it got up to 45 here yesterday, quite the diff from Port. Is that the lake effect?)
-
The first day above
That zero degree figure
Yes! Spring is coming.
Cute pic!
-
yes. Badger. Lake effect. But it did get up to 42 today. Just a beautiful day.
Apostle Islands
Ice caves have started to melt
Only 9 days open.
Seems the big ice formations started to fall off LOL!
-
Once, they were mighty.
Small snow piles flank driveway's end.
Remnants of the plow. ♥

Today I am ever so grateful to be able to report the safe delivery of my newest great-granddaughter, Payton Rita Garcia, 7lbs 10oz. Getting old IS fun!!!

Eostre Poem
♡
The Mother cloaks herself in green
This early springtime morn;
And everywhere new life is seen
A world again reborn.
♡
The cycle of the seasons clicks
Just one more turn ahead;
We suffer time's relentless ticks,
Lost dreams, and words, unsaid.
♡
The swollen streams have had their fill,
They hold it with no lack.
And though the days are colder still,
There is no turning back.
♡
We always want to hold
Onto the old ways too;
But if your choice is always bold,
The future is for you.
♡
And so the Mother's cloaked in green
This early springtime morn;
And everywhere new life is seen,
As we, once more, are born.
♡
Yes it's the same as last years. But it's pretty good so it bears repeating! LOL.
Much love to all
-
Red, she's beautiful, congrats! How appropriate to celebrate new life in Spring. Monica, loved the poem.
Planets don't twinkle.
Venus and Jupiter are
in my evening sky. ♥
-
a picture will say
A thousand words I have heard
Please for yourself:
-
Haikus don't confuse
And they really DO make sense
Well, most of the time....
LOL! Thanks Badger it's perfect!
-
YAY! Glad you like it.
Sometimes haikus make no sense.
Hand me the pliers.
-
Cataract surg'ry
On my list of things to do
Tomorrow morning!
***************************
Kind of scared this time
Last "normal" eye will be done
Silicone lens in
***************************
I shouldn't worry
After all, I'm not normal
In Boobs, Knees or HEAD!!!!!!
