making an appt to get my head shaved next week. What did you use to do it youself? I have an Oster dog clipper. Would that work?
-
Lulu,, that was awesome!! Loved those letters from the kids! -
Lulu, what an interesting project for your husband and his students. I'm sure it will stick with them for life.
-
Oster should work, 10 or 15 blade
-
woof woof. Maybe I will sit on the picnic table and so it like I groom my Chloe!

Post-chemo happy!
In the midst of posting this I got a call from my MO. No new chemo! :0)
-
Great news, Lulu!!! So happy for you.
Thank you for sharing those photos; they are very touching and tell quite a story. I have to say that you look great in the last one - the short look really does suit you.
-
Lulu, Hurray! No new chemo!
The photos are amazing. I think you might win the Bald Beauty Contest! And you look so healthy and happy.
-
Rock on!!!!!
-
Thanks, and sorry for the extra-large pictures. I'm not tech-savvy enough to figure out how to size them. I've kept my hair short. I got so used to getting ready in 5 minutes that I didn't want to go back to spending all that time coloring, blow drying and styling my hair. The short hair's really freeing.
-
YAY for no new chemo!! Loved your bad a$$ punk rock look!! And you rock the short hair!! -
Oh my god, those photos are amazing.
-
I'm sure it is very freeing, Lulu. And probably not something you would have tried by choice. The great thing about the short hair is that it really keeps the focus on your face and your personality shines through in a way that wasn't possible with your longer hair.
-
Awesome!! You go Rock star! The pictures say it all, and the smiles get bigger when the hair gets longer. Have a great weekend!
-
Lulu your pictures are beautiful and just what I needed to see tonight. Trying to decide what day next week to buzz my hair. Was going to go to hairdresser but might go crazed with dog clipper instead if I can getsomeone to do the back
-
Chloesmom - before moving ahead you might want to consider whether using those same clippers on the dog in the future will bring back unwanted memories of shaving your hair, or whether you'll be able to re-frame those memories and move past it. Then do what you'll be most comfortable with.
-
Good idea about dog. She is my bliss. Don't want any negative associations. That's why I'm Chloe's mom
-
OMG Lulu, you are certainly a badass, but you are also so pretty! You are pretty bald too! Love your short hair, and I agree -- it is freeing. The punk rocker picture is my favorite. Although it must have been a pain to spike it up every day.
Lulu is so pretty! This post is all about how pretty you are.
-
hair dresser is going to do the shave after all. My daughter suggested to do it gradually making it punk etc and doing selfies to try to keep it light.
-
Laughter through tears is always the best. I hope you have a great, winter hat to keep your new head warm. Be sure to treat your DD to a nice cup of hot chocolate after.
-
Lulu - beautiful photos! And yes, I agree with everyone else - the short hair really suits you, too! You look so happy and healthy! Thanks for sharing your photos! All the best to you ...
