    Zohra,

I am sorry to hear about your mom, but she is not alone.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 39 Stage 3B including lymphnodes.  I chose due to family history to have both breasts removed and then DR recommended ovaries being removed.  I am now 42 with a 7 year old daughter that I cannot even enjoy playing with because I am in so much pain.  I have not had reconstruction done yet because of all the talk of the life long pain from that.  I am in Virginia also and am new to the area so don't know a lot of good Dr's yet.  I have considered acupuncture as a friend had it and she said it made her whole body feel great but everyone reacts different.  I am mostly upset because I was treated by one of the most sought after cancer centers in the US and I made it very clear I don't like lies since I have along life to go but yet there only concern was to make sure I did what they are hired to do and that is get rid of the cancer and then it is your problem or someone elses.  I wish I had some answers for you I am on a long acting and short acting pain meds which are working some what, but they loose there effectiveness after awhile and then what??  I am actually heading in today to have more lymphnodes checked in other arm, and am going to ask DR to check bones also...better safe than sorry (but mine has gotten worse over the past 2 months).  Best wishes hope we can chat again and if I find anything to help your mom I will definitely let you know because this is not a good life.

    Lauren
