Menstrual Cycle

I was like clockwork. My last cycle started December 21. I felt the lump Dec 29 and was diagnosed January 20. Cycle has not come on. I'll start Chemo week after next. Seems I've had my last menstrual cycle, ever. Just curious if any of you that were regular had something out of the norm happen with your cycle just before discovery or diagnosis.

    Hi Sugarcakes,

    First of all, I am very sorry about your recent diagnosis. It could be that severe stress during the past month has affected your period. I have had occasions during my lifetime that this has happened to me. It could become regular again after your emotional roller coaster has ended. I do not know if chemo will affect your period but hopefully others with chemo experience will join in to comment. Good luck with your treatment.
