So tired this afternoon. Haven't been sleeping well this week, think its related to my worrying about the expander surgery next week. Glad I don't have to go to get any groceries tonight, bet the stores are going to be nuts because we are expecting snow tommorrow.
-
Mommy- I am always so nervous before any surgery. I am not a "surgery oriented person" but have learned to deal with it better with all the surgeries I have had to do these past few years. I hope if you can feel more ready, it will help you to relax. It is important to be rested going into any procedure.
Can your surgeon give you something to sleep better just for this next week? Mine did after I got diagnosed and before I had to have my procedure. I am not one who will reach towards the drugs readily, but sometimes we need a bit of help.

Mags.... I love your art-work! Give Rose a little kiss right on top of her head.... I still miss Lacee so much...........
-
Luvmygoats- love that kick cancer in the face post!
-
Dunes, the artwork in that folder is from 2007-2010. My life as a whole was more upbeat then. I've done no artwork since then. I wanted to get back into sketching, but I have so many physical limitations now I can't seem to make it work, and I have no inspiration or motivation to even try. I want to see your artwork. Please share.
Chevy, thanks for the compliment. I will attempt to give Rose a kiss on her head, but she is not a cuddler. The only time she's actually affectionate is when I come home after being gone. Otherwise she prefers to keep her distance.

Sas....thinking and praying for you.....didn't fall alseep before I got to you..but then, I didn't fall alseep before 4 this morning...makes for a long night and long day. Hope to fall asleep soon. Might have to move you to number one...lol . I got drunk the first two times my cancer had overcome the chemo. Now I am used to it. But I must admit, a little chocolate wine at night, sometimes makes me sleep better. Yummmmmmy.
Sweet dreams everyone.....and a little less pain for all
-

Chevy are u really in a body cast and I'm sure I know which finger is usable.
I'm sorry I'm not up-to-date u gals are just to fast for me, but I hope u feeling good and everyone has less pain and gets some good sleep.
-
Happy anniversaries, happy clear mammos, Happy Birthday and howdy ho to everyone else. I haven't heard anything from Blondie, hope she is ok. Prayers for all those struggling with bad news, pain and limitations.
Holy-cow when they have thunderstorms in Florida, they mean business! It was biblical driving back to the hotel last night... buckets. Folks either slow down to 45-55 or they drive like idiots 65mph+ spraying waves over the other lanes. There were so many accidents, crazy. The news said there was like 1/2-1 inch and hour and I hit it. The rental car is nice and washed. :-) Got up at 5... couldn't get back to sleep. Had a bunch of tests and the contrast has given me diarrhea. Probably the water they mix it with..whew. The water is salty here. Got to pack up and go see my Mom! yay! Anyway, have a good weekend everyone.
-
Enerva, my little Dumpling! I got those darling little gloves you so painstakingly knitted, to match the hat! I've been busy wearing them, and impressing everyone that sees me! So THANK you! It was knit, right? Not crochet? Or what? I can't tell the difference.
I made me some arm warmers about 5 years ago.. And THEN I see I was not so brilliant after all! You can buy them online now..
Mags, I understand about Rose... She might have "issues"... We used to dog-sit our friend "Rosie's" Cocker Spaniel... But he was a rescue dog, and no-one, meaning NO-ONE gets near his "stuff" ..... His pillow, blanket, toys... nothing! DH got bit once, by just putting his arm over the side of his recliner, but Cosmo was laying on HIS blanket by that chair. So he BIT his arm! The last time, we had put his pillow in another part of the room, but DH walked PAST it, and REALLY got chomped on again!
Didn't tell Rosie about THAT one... She would feel just soooooo bad... She is "our other Daughter from another Mother".. But Cosmo will let you pet him, when he is in the mood... And bring you a toy to throw for him... when he is in the mood. DH is afraid to even LOOK at him.... Ha! Same with Jim, Rosie's Husband.
He was beaten by a previous owner, and had to fight for anything he got... so it's not his fault. It isn't the dog that is bad, it was his owner...
Cams! YOU were up 2 hours ago? Busy night, eh girl? Make a lot of money? Glad you take time to come and say Hi.... I'll bet you are exhausted.
-

I know you and your Sister's didn't want to think so either. Did his family make it in time to see him? I can't believe that it had spread that fast....
